  1. I somewhat respect his willingness to talk to anyone, even though he never did so in good faith, but I don't respect his debate acumen at all. Most of it was against unprepared college students who only got a small amount of time to speak before he went back to churning through talking points. He mostly got completely dunked on in every 1 on 1 debate he did. clearly had very little real knowledge, and didn't care to learn. Besides, debates are fucking stupid anyway. They are probably the worst possible way to try and arrive at any kind of truth. Their only value is in propagandizing, to widely differing degrees of effectiveness.
  2. Cardinal Dolan is already of mandatory retirement age and had already submitted his resignation to the Pope in February. Typical r-worded reaction from MAGA.
  3. There's got to be more to that story
  4. We've never really had a front seven built to handle it until now. Avery Johnson ate us alive before but I think we can pretty easily contain him now.
  5. I agree it's just the kind of game we have historically choked in, but this team seems different.
  6. Houston has a little extra motivation to try and steal one from us as well,, but they're going to be tired from the trip to Oregon and we'll have had two weeks to prepare and an extra week of rest from the BYE before the game. The schedule is certainly favorable but @ ASU will certainly be tough and @ KSU could be a sleeper even though they're playing badly right now.
  7. Kind of a nothing trailer but I guess
  8. Utah was running the ball at 300 yards per game and didn't cross 100 yards until garbage time. Was pretty happy about that. Running QBs have been a thorn in our side for many years.
  9. Isn't the first and won't be the last. Bloodthirsty freaks. World summit to meet on two-state solution as support grows for Palestinian state | Reuters The world has opened its eyes, and we're going to be the ones left without a chair when the music stops.
  10. Only problem he was never very interested in the defensive side of the ball. It would be a circus but not one that produced many more wins.
  11. Charlie was about as Christian as the hair on my ass hth
  12. Crowd source this account
  13. They get the benefit of the doubt because they were contenders most years in the Pac 12, Whittingham is well regarded as a coach, and they usually have what is perceived to be a pretty salty team. Also, they got a big boost at the start of the season by beating the shit out of UCLA on the road, but we all saw how quickly that became fools gold. They weren't going to drop in the polls until they lost, though. Anyway, they looked bad because we made them look bad, for the most part. Their O-line is legitimately good and so is their defense. They have at least 2 projected first rounders on their O-line and our front seven absolutely destroyed them from start to finish. I don't really know where the Dampier hype came from, though, he was mediocre at UNM and somehow was supposed to be a Big 12 level QB at Utah? I'm not overly concerned about Houston, they'll likely go up to Oregon State and win a close-ish game against a dookie opponent and we'll get some nice rest on our bye week before rolling into a stadium that'll be half Tech fans and collecting the same result that happens every time Houston thinks they have a good team and are totally gonna beat Tech this time.
  14. Sounds like a lemon party
  15. Great choice for gameday imo
  16. Seems like you're projecting
  17. Anyone gonna say "SEC refs" or do I gotta do it
  18. "they're ass"
  19. Fuck that stupid ass old creep
  20. I noticed last week that he was really good at throwing the ball to the other team.
