  1. It's the "military aged men" trope
  2. You are the stupidest person alive. Smash your fingers with a hammer so we don't have to read your shit posts anymore.
  3. It whips ass that the dude that repeatedly projects his own weird sexual fantasies with terrorists onto people that disagree with him thinks he's actually the well adjusted one lmao
  4. Sorry I'm high, I said "that woman" but clearly I know she's Vanessa Kirby
  5. It actually blows my mind that someone being unsure of what to do with one of his hands at a photoshoot causes someone to think he's trying to grope that woman lol
  6. It actually blows my mind that they basically confirmed a 30 year old fan theory in this episode. As far as I'm aware, no canon Star Trek media to date had yet even hinted that Trelane was probably a Q, much less that he seems to actually be Q Junior. I know they didn't name him in the episode, but that's clearly Trelane. And honestly, how many current Star Trek fans under the age of 50 have even seen The Squire of Gothos? That's some next level fan service. Bravo to the showrunners.
  7. You're fucking weird. Stop being weird.
  8. A Nazi, sure, but it was all of them. They specifically picked 20 outright Nazi influencers and lied about it.
  9. Why are you pearl clutching?
  10. Anyway I'm tired as fuck and I should be asleep but my original point was don't yell at Brisket for not knowing everything and maybe having not the best mindset on this topic 2 years ago or whatever. There's no point, his heart's in the right place. Plenty of broken brains out there to worry about.
  11. Yeah don't Google mass graves in Gaza.
  12. Israel had a right to defend itself before it decided to flatten Gaza and kill everyone that lives there, as they're still likely to do. Once they decided to do that, they lost that right as they became the aggressor again. They only lost that title for about 1 day, anyway. And of course, they've always been the aggressor in the West Bank and every Palestinian there would be 100% justified in killing any settler and/or IDF soldier taking aggressive action against their families and homes. The part about Western/European guilt regarding the horrific mistreatment of Jews being mostly outsourced to Palestinians is a completely valid point, it's just not the whole story. Germany, to use the most obvious example, is completely powerless (understandably, as there is obviously a ton of guilt there) to be critical of Israel for any reason whatsoever, even though public opinion there has long shifted against what they're doing in Gaza. The unimaginable amount of guilt from the atrocities committed by the Nazis very ironically prevents them from officially recognizing any position that is critical of Israel's actions, even though they effectively mirror the actions of the Nazis at this point. It's just a pure hell world we're living in.
  13. It doesn't matter if he fully grasps every bit of nuance or not. I know fully well the conversations that were had. What's important is he does recognize the genocide, how utterly awful Israel's leadership is, our role in perpetuating everything that's happening, etc. Meanwhile, Steven Colbert is probably getting replaced by fucking Bari Weiss's (whose entire goddamn career is nothing but open and extreme capitulation to Israel) bitch ass, CBS news was just today demanding on national television that the dude that the Trump administration falsely imprisoned and attempted to deport for being openly pro-Palestinian while brown "condemn Hamas" as if we've come full circle, and the fucking House minority leader won't endorse the Democratic nominee for mayor in his own fucking city because he won't support Israel. There are a lot more and a lot worse broken brains out there too worry about than someone who might have been less than agreeable on this topic 2 years ago.
  14. No I mean all the discourse we went through back when Oct. 7th happened. There were a lot of people in here spouting off ahistorical, hysterical nonsense, for like 2 straight years. Even among the more well meaning posters like yourself. A lot of lessons had to be learned. I never bring it up because it's irrelevant and pointless, as most people have come to recognize these events for what they actually are by now, and I'm not going to point out any specifics for that same reason. Ana bringing it up now is not helpful and serves no purpose other than to try and score a few Internet points that no one gives a shit about.
  15. Yes I think this is part of why he was annoyed. I think he was told he was going to be debating more mainstream MAGA types rather than just a straight up bunch of outright, terminally online Nazis.
  16. Who cares if he ends up in the right spot? I used to think the Iraq war was good. We all have dumb thoughts in our pasts and presents. He means you took a bit of convincing to come around on this topic. There's no real reason to bring it up other than to be a dick that I can think of.
  17. Macklemore but lol if you @ him he's just going to say how much he loves this.
  18. Of course he did, he was always going to, but he was clearly annoyed at the entire situation.
  19. Also the rumor is they deceived Medhi Hasan into believing he would just be debating average MAGA people and online Nazi groypers like the fat tub of shit that got himself fired.
  20. Yeah it's a little different in the 1v20 format because the 1 is always going to be someone with actual knowledge, I was more referring to their other formats where they would always have ringers on the "wrong" side of the argument, and the people on the "right" side were pretty much always like a school teacher or some other rando.
  21. They also frequently bring in paid professionals (such as professional right wing content creators or even CEOs) in whatever relevant field and present them as every day people with real concerns rather than what they actually are (people that make a living shilling whatever point of view is relevant to the video's premise). It's incredibly cynical and dishonest. Jubilee is trash.
  22. My only real complaints about the game are A) the AI positioning in zone defense is horrendous overall, whether during pass coverage, when there's a mobile QB, etc....and B) that the fucking AI runs into the kicker way too often on like extra points and shit.
  23. Jubilee is a uniquely, monstrously cynical and hollow media org. It's literally just trying to capture the appeal of Roman gladiatorial combat in media form except it's boring/depressing as fuck.
