I work with a large group of Puerto Ricans (mostly women) in Killeen (no I don't live there), and they're wonderful people. I have gone to so many potlucks thrown by someone's boricua abuela that I've lost count. Most of them are huge normies but some lean to the right, or are at the very least extremely susceptible to right wing propaganda as they tend to be very family oriented and thus are vulnerable to right wing agitprop about "leftists" trying to destroy the family unit.
I remember going and speaking with some of them one day at the office and they were talking about the movie Sound of Freedom...how sad it made them and how we need to do more to combat human trafficking etc etc. I spent probably 45 minutes explaining to them exactly who Tim Ballard really was and I made a bet I need to collect on with one of the ladies about how he would be outed as a human trafficker within 5 years, guaranteed. It's just a very normie perspective within that community from what I've seen.
Of all the Puerto Ricans I have met, I would say probably around 30% of them were inclined to vote Trump for one reason or another, after that rally and all the texts and Facebook posts I've seen and people I've spoken to directly, I would say that number is probably under 10% now. They don't play around with shit like that, everyone I've spoken to is fucking PISSED about what that dipshit failed comic said.
If I'm right, a swing that large in a state like PA (which has what like half a million Puerto Ricans living in it?) would be absolutely devastating to Trump. What a huge blunder.
