  1. Yeah this is part of why doing shit like that is considered a war crime. Just increases the likelihood of medical support personnel on either side being targeted.
  2. I was going to say something along the lines of those people simply have no shame, or the ability to be shamed. What safe sex said summed it up way better though.
  3. For the same reason half the people on this board/in this state can't see that it's run by morons who are at best incompetent, and at worst literal criminals. For the same reason that a sizeable chunk of the our population thinks Texas would survive a month if we actually seceded from the union. For the same reason that, for some reason, people think Texas is a tax haven for anyone but the giga rich and corporations, despite the fact that we we are taxed to the gills, just in different ways. The list goes on. And on. And on. We are stupid.
  4. I don't know what makes you think I'm gonna read or respond to any of that considering how many times you have demonstrated yourself to be a completely unserious and willfully uninformed person with regard to this conflict. Like I said to sheeit, the first time you engage this topic or any other on this board will be the first. Literally just the small snip Ana quoted demonstrates your lack of willingness to learn about this conflict, and your complete lack of seriousness. Again, like I said to sheeit, fuck off.
  5. Anyone else privy to what's going on with these Arkansas rumors? I haven't posted anything yet because it seems unsubstantiated but...?
  6. Basically what I'm saying is they're both fucked up people, and the only difference between what went on while he was in Lubbock and what was probably still regularly happening in Austin is the cops got called and he got arrested. There's just no fucking way Texas could keep him employed. He almost certainly would have gotten fired at Tech had the same thing went down.
  7. I even agree with him that she probably was, based on everything I ever heard about their relationship while he was at Tech. There were plenty of rumors about drunken bouts of mutual domestic and substance abuse well before there were any hints of him leaving for Texas. Cops seemingly never got involved so nothing ever came of it. The issue is a lot of people will treat a situation like that as a binary his fault or her fault when in reality it's 1000% both their faults and neither should be shielded from consequences because of who they are or because the other person may or may not have "started it" that particular night.
  8. But you're claiming everyone that sourced Tahoe is psychotic or something. My point is, the guy that starts a new thread every few days trying to stir up discussion on why black people are genetically inferior is actually the psychotic one. What's the solution to that besides banning?
  9. Yeah of course. His issue was a completely unwillingness to self assess and instead continue to do the Principal Skinner meme while saying awful shit until he got sourced.
  10. I have years of professional experience dealing with domestic abuse victims (individual and mutual victims), sexually abused minors, etc. I don't do it anymore and haven't for like a decade (I don't think my psyche could handle it anymore) but you don't just forget how to ride a bicycle, so to speak. I am not trying to diminish your lived experience by telling you that you don't seem to understand the personal slant you're painting this entire situation with. I simply have more experience with these kinds of things than you do, despite whatever abuse you endured. It is quite amusing that you immediately try to paint me as a "snowflake social justice warrior", though, thanks I needed that laugh. The fact that you immediately jump to this extreme when I have generally had your back on most things rather than trying to consider (with charitability instead of hostility) why I would be saying these things a is pretty interesting.
  11. Would have been nice to take this one, but I'm not upset at that loss. TCU is very good. I said I would happily take a 2-2 split in this stretch of games we just played (@UH, BYU, @OU, @TCU) and we got it so I don't really have shit to complain about. TCU defended us differently than anyone else has, probably a lot of good film for the coaches to go over.
  12. I can promise you with absolute certainty that I have much more experience than you in this arena, despite whatever personal anecdotes you may be able to provide. You unequivocally have no idea what you're talking about. There is more than enough evidence to suggest an absolute shitstorm of a mutually abusive relationship there, but it should clue you in how fucked up your perspective is that you A) clearly take the man's side in this instance despite the physical evidence alone, and B) clearly assume he's an innocent party simply because we know Randi Trew is a bitch. That said, I don't have the mental bandwidth to try and go into further detail and explain to you why you're wrong, so keep on keeping on I guess.
  13. They shot well above their average and we did a lot of dumb stuff. I would guess we win 3/5 games against them. I wish Peavy had stayed, McCasland would have been perfect for him.
  14. Nah TCU just played better overall imo This was always gonna be a tough one to win on the road
  15. Oh ok so we're back to bitching about rep. I would venture to guess that the number of unique posters (not individual handles themselves) that have gotten themselves crowdsourced is not a very long one. I would also venture the guess that the number of people who have simply moved to new usernames to try and [unsuccessfully] escape their reputations (Johnny Sack, Icono, etc) is much longer, especially if you add in the snowflakes that rage quit the board like that guy who pantsed himself celebrating Trump's 2020 "victory" way too early, and it gets even longer. Did Rocko even get sourced? Didn't he just quit? Or am I remembering that wrong. As far as Tahoe getting "waylaid by psychos", yeah no. I'm not sure if you're lying or just misinformed, but straight up repeatedly making eugenics arguments against black people in the CR is a good way to get yourself sourced. The reality is it's super easy to not get crowd sourced on this board: Just don't be a steaming pile of shit.
  16. Hell it was way better less than a decade ago. Game 7 of the Cavs historic comeback against the Warriors was a defensive clinic on both sides.
  17. Buddy, what you really don't want to do is get into an atrocity-off/discussion about who has more blood on their hands on this topic if you're for some reason still staunchly on the side of Israel.
  18. He reminds me of Clarence Nadolny at Tech a couple years back. Scrappy as hell, 150% effort. Love that kind of player.
  19. Jesus I forgot this game was tonight, I'm sad I missed it, looks like y'all almost pulled it off though
  20. I'm gonna need to see some evidence that maybe isn't directly from Israel, considering they're not exactly an unbiased or even reliable source on information re: Gaza/WB. I'm almost positive we will never see a shred of evidence for this, Western media will report it as fact nonetheless, and then everyone will move on, as is what usually happens. Nothing 956 said was really wrong or out of line, but the goal here probably isn't to shift aid through another vector, but to end it entirely. But you know, it's totally *not* a genocide.
  21. I think unironically they have a big depth problem. They have 4 guys playing 32+ minutes a game and a pretty big dropoff after that.
