  1. Sam never had the benefit of three years of college football practice before being called on to face a shitty Buff defense with no scouting report on him. Sam is going to play in the NFL.
  2. He’s not a great fit for the V/S.
  3. It’s been while, but I’ve flown several C90’s. The F90 was the T tail hot rod if I remember right. Agree with the poster above. I’d think you could located a B200 in the same price range and have a lot more mission capability.
  4. Still haven’t seen her and Mickey Rourke in the same room.
  5. Stop me if you’ve heard this one. Mack Brown team struggles when opponent does unexpected things.
  6. Collect larger paychecks and pad their resumes.
  7. Looks like Andre Coleman just received his walking papers. Pitt WR coach Brennan Marion being floated as a possible replacement.
  8. A good guess, but she’s from Palermo. The most conquered city in history.
  9. I dunno, the offender might just show them a picture of the list eater and have the monkeys understand the natural o predicament male residents of Brazos county are in. Shit, in that context I almost understand the sheep shenanigans.
  10. I’ve got an idea about handling the feral pig population in Texas….
  11. Sneaking’em through the B gap.
  12. This is rich coming from a guy who won a MNC at Auburn after buying Cam Newton, and likely more than a few others.
  13. My last company was contracted to the Alabama AD for supplemental lift. Saban was an interesting character. His interactions were very planned. I.e., if he expected to interact with you, and needed to, he was surprisingly personable. If he didn’t need to interact with you or if it was unplanned the offender was pretty much an object for him to ignore and walk around. Never saw him eat his catering. Lane Kiffin was every bit the massive goober you would think he is. Always seemed to slink around and half hide behind doors. The founder and CEO of my last company is a big Notre Dame alum. He’s also a re-used douche nozzle worthy of nary a drop of urine should he spontaneously combust, but he made money. And donated time for Kelly. BK was alway personable and friendly. And surpassingly knowledgeable about a variety of subjects. Nothing like the awkward rage monkey you see on tv. But he was usually coming back from fishing and golfing in Naples or something. Just a little color that has nothing to do with their football personas.
  14. More like 17 notes passed under the stall on toilet paper.
  15. IT mentioned some big news coming on defense to make it better.
  16. She’s wears those pads to sexy fun time, so the rear mount is your safest play.
  17. Does OSU have one? They’ve been playing all season to keep Sanders from torpedoing their games by the second quarter. God knows he’s tried.
  18. Oh. I see now. You can’t actually read anything that doesn’t march in 100% lockstep with you views on the matter. If you have a solution for a shooter forcing his way into a classroom that doesn’t involve the kids just sitting there waiting to get shot you can share it at any time. Or perhaps you can admit it’s probably the best shitty option available in that particular situation.
  19. In all seriousness, I actually posted some off the cuff thoughts on the matter. There was no begging off. Bother to read. And my perspective isn’t that of some over the top gun nut. We have a few firearms and some ammo, but it’s not like I’m subscribed to multiple gun magazines, a member of the NRA or work in the 2A into every conversation. I’ve maybe been out shooting 3 times in the last 18 months. I do believe in a fundamental right to bear arms. I do not believe in a disarmed society or that we will every get there even if we tried. So the answer has to be in between. It’s not some single armed SRO, every teacher being armed with a gun or building schools with shooters in mind. I’m open to solutions, but I’d also point out that most of the places trying to address gun violence of all kinds by limiting or banning guns seem to be hotspots for the laws meant to stop it. So just throwing some laws at the problem is not a complete solution either.
  20. Yup. That’s what is implied with an inelegant solution. The kids can either sit there and wait to be shot if escape out a window isn’t possible, or they can rush the attacker, probably overwhelm him and suffer some casualties in the process.
  21. Yeah. Fuck off. I’m not you enemy in this.
  22. I think more Waukeshas start happening if you somehow manage to keep the guns out the of the hands of shooters. It’s easy to lay hands on the guns right now, and shooter games certainly have made a mark on children and what is normalized behavior, but I think anyone really intent on killing a bunch of kids can. I could probably take out 40 in the after school line with my car. I think certain individuals should never be allowed to possess guns or be in houses with them, gun safety courses and evaluations at said courses should probably be mandatory, and failure to secure a firearm that is later used in a shooting should maybe be prosecuted the same as the crime itself. We have multiple firearms, but they are secured in a place our kids don’t know about, separate from ammunition, have gun safety locks, the keys are hidden and they are labeled in such a way that it’s not apparent which weapon they belong to. It’s a start.
  23. Australia’s Covid response is precisely why you won’t see “cowards” flock to the ban guns banner. Your premise also assumes that we can “just try it”. Yeah, they’re not giving the guns back once they get turned in. Not how government works. There is no way to precog a shooter, but there are clearly individuals with either former criminal backgrounds or mental issues who need not have access to a gun. Calling anyone who disagrees with you on a subject a coward probably isn’t your strongest play for conversational purposes btw. There are probably quite a few steps in between what we have now and a disarmed society. Maybe start with those.
  24. Down south of Houston a ways. Definitely not Lilly white. Probably halfish white, large percentage of Hispanics and maybe 10-15% black/other. A quiet town where a lot of people who worked at some of the plants on the coast live/d. That’s changing as there’s a ton of construction going on at those plants, real estate is getting pricey in the towns immediately serving them and people are willing to drive another 15 minutes for affordable housing. But for now it’s that place.
  25. Well, as someone above noted, the guns aren’t going away. You may or may not like that premise, but it’s reality. If you accept that as the way things are then the only thing left is how to identify people that we can’t allow to have them.
