  1. The ureter is the problem area. The plumbing from the bladder down can handle passing that with no problem. My diet is based on the stone type I produce. I was a chronic producer having 7-8 lithotripsies between HS and college. On one occasion I had 11 retained stones on one side and 9 on the other. I’ve only had 2 stones in the 19 years since. I take 1 800 mg chanca piedra daily, and a 1080mg potassium citrate twice daily. My diet requires that I avoid foods high in oxalates. That includes dark colored drinks like coffee, tea, sodas and beer. Potatoes, nuts and nut butters, grains, chocolates and certain green leafy vegetables are also no no’s. Naturally, I have a large daily water intake and lemonade is actually particularly good for me when I want some flavor. Im not completely sworn off the foods above, but consume them in very limited quantities. For example, I’ve got a root beer put aside for my birthday this month. The last soda I had was at the beginning of August, and this will be maybe my 4th of the year. I’ll knock back some mashed potatoes and sweet tea on Thanksgiving, but it will be the first time I’ve had either since New Years. It sucks, but you’ll do what you have to do to avoid that pain.
  2. Stadol is what they have always given me when the initial shot of demerol wore off. I think it’s out of favor now.
  3. Yeah. Tight window. Not quite as I remember. Would have been a miracle snag by the defender.
  4. No, just some conjecture on my part.
  5. I would add that most modern spread offenses run more plays than the John Mackovic O of yesteryear, and that a non carry might mean a lead block or blitz pickup on 10-20% more plays than Ricky ran. So 20 carries, 5 passes and a bunch of backfield collisions might equal the kind of pounding backs received in earlier offensive systems. Just a guess.
  6. Yeah. That’s the angle that I recall. It looked like the kind of pass you get away with against lesser competition, but the QB coach mentions that an LSU LB might reach up and snag it in film review.
  7. I use this as well as a preventative in addition to an altered diet and potassium citrate supplements.
  8. I did all my private stuff in a 152, and still remember feeling like I was hauling a$$ doing 120kts when I bumped up to a 172 for instrument work. Congrats.
  9. Haven’t seen a replay yet, but my recollection is that that pass cleared a LB’s head by not a lot, and he just watched it go by.
  10. The worst part is that they no longer do lithotripsies. Instead they ram a laser up your junk and play Galaga until the stone is gone. You’re out for that, but you’re quite awake when they remove the stint that’s left in after the procedure a week later. Also, the pain post stint removal will rival the stone pain for a number of hours.
  11. Well done Berty.
  12. Herbie’s head on Coach Kline’s body with his trousers dropped revealing a corn dog tattoo. “What Mama don’t know won’t hurt her.” Or perhaps Joe Burrow with Joe Dirt’s mullet looking at Ed O as the Cajun Man: “Ya like to see homos naked?”
  13. ESPN isn't interested in dumping any money or effort into the LHN. So you get Hamster Gallindo bouncing off the walls of the booth routine.
  14. Mack's lips seem to have an inverse relationship with hit gut. The former disappears as the latter grows.
  15. RoJo kinda reminded me of Chris Ogbannaya with a bit more pop in his step. Size wise they seem close, and Johnson has a bit of economy of motion in his run game. No unnecessary wiggle in his running style. Casey Thompson looks like he’s running in fast forward after watching Sam scramble. Whole different level of dual threat in his run game.
  16. SA is actually Lance Armstrong. The singular descriptor was correct.
  17. 1hr 45min ish. Not ideal, but I only come to work a couple of times a month.
  18. I get the math. Even money he’s got a chart that said kick the XP.
  19. Thank you for the reply.
  20. Probably because he was sure he had a TD or two more up his sleeve and a quarter with which to post them.
  21. It’s difficult to tell humor from full blown, knuckle dragging meatheadedness at times. My bad.
  22. It would sting if you actually stated the position correctly. I never said don’t tackle. I said find ways to mitigate injury possibilities for thin positions. And now we’ll have a back up QB and walkons taking snaps at RB for probably the first half of the year. That’s when our two injured starters aren’t playing themselves I never said shit about Sterns. We have a lot of talented safeties.
  23. Just general thoughts on living there. Quality of the school system. Town seem to be going strong or slowly dying off? We took a one day field trip out there and liked what we saw, but not nearly enough time to make informed decisions. I’d be commuting back to Dallas a couple of one a month so that’s a drawback. We just want a slower place of life, some elbow room, a bit of Americana and a cost of living that isn’t getting stupid. The wife would like to stay home more with kids.
  24. Any opinions on Graham, TX?
