  1. I actually respect those women more. They tried to survive, possibly help their families, to live through the horror and dealt with the public shame. Those women had little choice of the situation they were put in. Scott went into this with full knowledge and power to do something about it, or not be apart of it. But he chose this. You don’t get to be sorry after fucking over 300 million people after you nutted.
  2. Yes. And basically that brings about the end of the constitution as we know it. No taxation without representation was a spark that started this nation. Extinguishing the representation (which has been smothered) over a fairly meaningless election is their trial run to end the experiment. Trump told them they would never need to vote again and he meant it.
  3. Fuck that website too.
  4. That is exactly what Trump and his Russian backers want.
  5. I am sure russian roulette is exciting, but I don't want to play/watch.
  6. Nero had issues, but I highly doubt he is the caricature that is often prescribed to him by enemies. The fiddle didn't exist back then. It was recorded that he immediately booked a return trip back to Rome to help. His mom was a whore and tried to murder him. I would take Nero over Trump any fucking day of the week.
  7. From what I understood, it was going to appeals, where it was definitely one sided and she expected this. Only it will now go to the NC State Supreme Court, and because she has integrity she will recuse herself, but let her 5 R and 1 D judges decide against her, before it goes to the SCOTUS. And we know they are completely corrupt as well. So basically elections no longer have meaning.
  8. Imagine what this dickhead's complaint would be if people suddenly stopped ordering out, stopped buying cars, and started acting like we lived in a depression and avoided credit.
  9. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2025/03/north-carolina-supreme-court-riggs-griffin-voting-rights.html This was on the national news today. Basically a judge won her election, so her opponent decided that voting rules should be changed after the fact so he can toss out votes for her and declare himself the winner, and our banana republic is considering this. It has been 5 months. Guess what political party the ones trying to change the outcomes are?
  10. Amazing how badly the markets have performed under this 'businessman'
  11. Um. Look. Republicans have always had only 2 coherent strategies beyond each voting cycle. The first one was to stay in power and rig the system to their advantage and the other was to enrich the rich to an oligarchic status. Beyond that everything else was flexible.
  12. He hitched his wagon to a buffoon thinking he could manipulate him, knowing that everyone around him has suffered from their connections to him and that the buffoon has never been held accountable. Now his company has lost 11% value in a week. While he can argue it is a systemic system and that some are worse off, everyone will know that this clown helped support and usher this worldwide chaos in. And when we get a Teddy Roosevelt type back in office there will be a reckoning on these large investment banking firms who have participated, caused, and encouraged worldwide financial disasters.
  13. What does Jamie Dimon know that Lee Iacocca doesn't? Other than breathing.
  14. So, it was a Wednesday at aggy.
  15. did something happen?
