  1. Texas earned about $270 million last year in revenue. ND earned about $220 million. I think we will be OK.
  2. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2025/01/03/sec-dead-georgia-loss-sugar-bowl/77417185007/ USA today? Haha, haha, haha. Haha
  3. Targeting was designed to rule out the extreme hits, not the incidental contact or ticky-tacky stuff. That the media and former players and officials don’t know the rules, is pretty unlikely. All this shit is just manufactured controversy. Just like they do with Texas QB situations (is it time for the back up?) every year. Heck today, I saw discussions about the Georgia sideline penalty and they were acting like this was a first time issue for Georgia to do this. Maybe if the SEC would actually enforce the rules against UGA they would have not done it. Kind of reminds me how B12 used to allow TTU and OU get away with so much holding that they thought it was normal and outside of conference officiating their offenses could sputter out due to never having been forced to do their job correctly.
  4. His real impact was due to the 97 plays, bad Texas offense going 3-out, and bonus spots. He was most effective late in the game when the defense had been getting tired. He made the pass, but one TD was straight BS. He did his job though and was solid but it wasn't like he was Lendale White ripping off 6.2 ypc against our not worn out national champions defense and only getting stuffed once (IIRC).
  5. not enough against ND to be comparable.
  6. funny, yesterday he said he drank too much water too fast.
  7. funny seeing them crying about DPI not being called.
  8. Cocky is fine. Arrogant not so much.
  9. but why? Do you also self-flagellate?
  10. He is pretty good, but way overhyped. If it werent for the incompetence/fuckery he would have had and ollie gordon like performance.
  11. looks like a block in the back as well.
  12. not cool.
  13. You see, the college football "analysts" don't actually watch games or know what they are talking about beyond the food quality in the booth. But they make their money driving clicks and creating controversy as much as possible wherever they can. So they will ignore the actual targeting, the bullshit spot/first down, the egregious holding, the illegal man downfield, sideline interference, OPI/DPI, pulling a player forwards, because it doesn't drive the point home to call B10 officials out for their fuckery, but they will instead latch on to some meaningless iffy play that was actually correctly called and try to argue about that incessantly for the next week because bullshit sells (e.g. essential oils). Calling out officiating for being corrupt or incompetent doesn't really generate the clicks like the insinuation that an undeserving team advanced. Note, these assholes were ready to shit all over Indiana for winning games and earning a spot, in favor of teams who lost multiple games and didn't, until those teams demonstrated why they were unworthy. Any of those assholes want to say that Bama/SCAR should be in the CFP today?
  14. Odd that you had to read the thread to figure that out. Unless you were listening via radio.
  15. Ohio State fans online stated their opponents had 0 holding calls all year against them prior to last night. So it seems like this is a systemic b10 issue.
  16. He never was particularly fast, but he was much more mobile and capable of throwing on the move. This seems to have limited him quite a bit.
  17. To his credit he didn’t cry in the post game press conference like Levitt did.
  18. Meh, he is a good player, but a properly officiated game takes a big chunk out of his stats. Can’t get over what a douche he is and how he and his QB were having fits blaming everyone but themselves in the early part of the game. As that settled down, he was still a bit of a cunt and AZ has quite a few on their team, especially our castaway Troy notgonnaworkhere. MVP should have been Ewers or the defense.
  19. On about 30 fewer snaps and a very limited running game.
  20. Quinn is still injured by my guess. He isn’t rolling out of the pocket much and buying time like he used to. But he is healthy enough to play and win playoff games with a patchwork line and no running game and a coach who has as many WTF moments as Bert.
  21. on the interception our guy was hit with a launched shoulder to helmet IIRC. No call then too.

  23. due to @Laxtonto I read that as "No more pasties"
