  1. South Austin's mom is pretty clever. For a whore.
  2. They are not all poor.
  3. Hmm, the end shape of the Ukraine territory looks like Australia. What in the Alex Jones does that mean?
  4. At this point, all Ukraine needs to do is spray paint a Z on 2 or 3 Bradleys and drive them to the Kremlin and the war will be over.
  5. I remember watching that live. What a doofus.
  6. It seems that Russia never considered the fact that they couldn't pick the battle ground either way, or were overly reliant upon the Western Nations handcuffing their actions. Coupled with their focus on entrenching and defending those positions so heavily they left themselves vulnerable in other areas. I also doubt those defenses were designed beyond a single direction given what we know of Russian military quality/thinking. But who knows, I am just some asshole that challenged Sun Tzu's doctrine from my keyboard.
  7. probably getting expensive so they just want to send more meat.
  8. There is a reason for the development of pincer moves and how movement in general can contribute to the effectiveness of strategy. I haven't read Sun Tzu in a long time, but I would caution on the rigidity of that thinking. Sure there are examples of the Lost Battalion (WWI) and the Alamo which give credence to his claim, but the Battles of Marathon, Cannae, Hattin, Kiev (1941) all show significant success of this strategy.
  9. There was a person trampled, a couple of heart-attack/strokes, and an officer that died (few days later) as well.
  10. Not a bad rebound today for Intel, up 7.9% Doesn't make up for the other losses though.
  11. The invasion of Russia is the best option for Ukraine. I hope they keep it up.
  12. which seat will be sniffed first?
  13. What the fuck did I watch?
  14. That sounds like fear talking, not reason. The oligarchs are not committed to a suicide pact with Putin. Wagner made its way to Moscow without firing a shot. Their country is more fractured than we believe. Additionally, oligarchs have their own interests and are as aligned as they as is it is politically expedient. There will be some diehards, but those will be rooted out by the next one up. The smart ones will bend the knee to the next one up. Maybe I am wrong. But I tend to think of Russia as a feudal society with lordships.
  15. He isn't serious about winning.
  16. But the internal turmoil for Russia would take some of the heat off of Ukraine most likely during the transition as the vultures try to consolidate power and eliminate threats which could include the break-up of Russia into smaller states as well. Putin may be a shithead, but a dead russian leader sends a major message to the next in charge. It also gives them a face saving out, blame Putin, return territory/kids/etc. and trying to re-participate in the world economy again without China fleecing them. Of course the next person could totally have a peaceful transfer of power and just double down and send more people to the slaughter. But given that Wagner basically rolled to the outskirts of Moscow unmolested there are more than a few problems in Russia and I think the former is much more likely than the latter extreme.
  17. Update: I have just been informed that FBMS will now bundling their AP/Vanguard courses to their Honors program and there will be even more students in every class for the teachers. Yes, so the TEA's appointed guy, is putting more than the TEA guidelines of 22/kid per class and in fact, they are bloating the classrooms even more while cutting services.
  18. My guess is that car is equipped with a roll cage and probably has the seats and everything possible removed from the vehicle.
  19. I have a beautiful head of hair, even if greying and more grey than not in my beard. Sorry.
  20. Why shouldn't they? The state is not funding schools properly nor is it spending the money they have allocated to education. Why should residents vote to hand money over to someone who is cutting supports, services, has ZERO accountability and no trust from the community? Why should residents accept that in 8 days, we are supposed to start school, yet the websites of most HISD schools are not updated, people we have been reaching out to about the upcoming year to PREP a SPED kid are not responding at the school level or district level and we have no idea if they are still even employed. No schedules or information of any kind from FBMS. Heck the teaches from OFE (next fucking door to FBMS) have sent out welcome messages, one teacher even sent it from Columbia where he was on vacation more than a week ago. We also saw this fuckface take Texans money and hand it off to pay for his charter school admin in Colorado which of course he has a financial interest in. No trust, no bond.
  21. I specialized in the 1979-87 Turbo Buicks (Wet turbo, hot air and intercooled) and I left the field with more ideas on how to unlock performance, some of which were tried by others and others which seemed still to be overlooked. I went the early 70’s Skylark for rehab but that didn’t last long and i had to quit cold turkey and get rid of it too cause I was addicted to modifying. But back then, we would test parts at the track, not on a butt dyno or magazine. I recall several cars with 1000s of dollars in upgrades that were shit and the cars went slower than stock. Conventional wisdom broke down too from time to time.
  22. Good point. My mom did admin work at a nursing home. She didn’t much care for the nurses and orderlies and would comment on how often the elderly were missing jewelry and watches soon after arriving.
