  1. So far Santiago is cool. We've found some good neighborhoods and toured around. Actually seems a lot like NYC to be honest. These Pisco sours can be strong AF. Weed is everywhere. National holiday Monday Tuesday so hopefully find a cool festival
  2. I am hands off on this one. I'm traveling with my buddy. I planned SE Asia last year. He did this one. But he says it's on our iten
  3. Leaving on a big jet plane today at 4pm. I splurged and paid the $600 extra for the lie flat Polaris. I felt lke that was a great deal considering they wanted $2400 extra for that seat two days ago. 12 days. Santiago then rent a car and drive over to Valapariaso and then two back in Santiago. No hotels set on the way back so maybe a night out of Santiago We did not think we had time to make it down to Patagonia. Lots of day trips out of Santiago into wine regions etc. Staying here for the first 6 days https://www.hilton.com/en/hotels/sclpvup-ola-santiago-providencia/ Then here in Vin del Mar https://all.accor.com/hotel/B463/index.en.shtml?utm_campaign=seo+maps&utm_medium=seo+maps&utm_source=google+Maps
  4. Looks like Son picked up a knee injury with SK and it might be serious. Ok apparently he is starting for SK today. I saw a picture of him with ice on his knee. Whew
  5. My understanding is that leasing can make financial sense if you are a person who trades your car every two years. The biggest issue in Texas is the leasor pays the ENTIRE tax on the car even though they are only driving it for two years. It really puts you behind the eight ball. In other states you pay a prorated amount depending on the term of the lease. It's safe to assume that the majority of people lease so that they can get into a nicer car for less per month. I do have a client that makes $3mil a year and he leases here in Texas. Now because he's such a good client to the dealer they give him really great lease terms that makes it actually the same as buying.
  6. Not me today. I'm in Tallahassee w a Fwb. But I do have a Romero shirt waiting for me back in San Antonio. She stole one of my favorite shirts
  7. I guess my thought of us being decent without a few windows has evaporated
  8. 20 years ago with payment coupon books and manual checks maybe. With ACH draft it's press 6 buttons and its auto pilot for 48 or 60 months. Its one thing if the detla between the two rates is a percent or 50bps but right now its around a 3% delta if you just assume that same money is just sitting in a HY svgs account
  9. I've met more than one person who lost 100% of their investment in a car wash
  10. I have no issues but unfortunately ESPN+ is at least 45 seconds behind
  11. Anyone turning in on ESPN+? How do we feel about these kits? I like them
  12. Well I assume two people then two people living beyond their means and that in turns would be two $1000/pmts. So you'd need to double. When I think $1000 payment I think of some $75k millionaire buying a $75k vehicle. I have clients that do this. Not only with cars but with houses. Some people just feel like they have a god given right to live far beyond their means.
  13. It's not the payment that's the problem its payment to income. $1000 payment when you are making $5k a month is a problem. It's not an issue if you make $20k a month. But very few people make $20k a month. And anyone financing anything at 7 or 8% is insane. My current note is $963 on a 1.9%. Got it in May of 2022. It would have been dumb for me to pay cash at that rate and my payment is a low single digit of my mthly income.
  14. I guess if Madison can't go we will see what Le Celso has
  15. I'm calling it.. Spurs are going to win a trophy this season.
