  1. Make sure you have 50 bedroom place for all the surly assholes who will be crashing with you
  2. This is my understanding. Several of the travel twits and bloggers etc are reporting back that the general attitude and customer service with United is excellent. Personally I had a small issue in flying with my kids for spring break. United was very accommodating even putting us in a prem economy seat for free as a gesture.
  3. Twitters says Skipp had surgery here in the US today and will obviously be out for the remainder of the season
  4. Where are the pics? Anything left handed is a bitch. I am left handed due to being blind in my right eye so I shoot left even though I'm right. Hard because my son is right so we have to share. Always interested in left stuff
  5. Well if I wasn't an honest person: 9 of you would be getting free gloves. Clearly Amazon had a fullflment problem. If for any reason they don't want them back then it's give away time unless you have hobbit fingers. But I doubt the want to give away $300 worth of gloves
  6. That was my understanding of why they were able to underbid the majors for decades is that they did a great job of hedging their fuel costs for years and years
  7. Damn college girls and their tights bodies and loose morals. Definitely avoid that place. You'll be much better off at one of the older bars where the avg age is 60 and they do lines of viagra in the bathroom and the women keep Dr. Bob in business In 15 years I have never paid a cover charge and I didn't pay one yesterday..checks notes. it was the wknd. Must be much later in the evening and lets not forget the same person is asking about going to strip clubs so I doubt a $5 cover charge is much of a concern. No doubt its not for everyone was just throwing some bars out uber distance. If he doesn't like it he can uber to one of the sterile tourist filled or alcoholic single mom bars listed above if that's more his style. Personally I have zero issues with any bar as long as the service is good, they have cold beers and few good bodies to look at.
  8. Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded
  9. That whole area is set up to serve the UTSA and tourist community in town for Sea world or Fiesta Texas. There must be 20-30 hotels in a 10 mile radius from 10 and 1604. Restaurant recos are spot on. I didn't see Palenque Grill mentioned. You could also Uber out west a tad to a few more establishments like La Gloria and Silo Oyster etc. Their is a pretty nice food truck spot also not far from where you are called The Block. Can also be hit or miss. Sunday brings out the mimosa crowd. Same on peelers places. Haven't been in a long time but Palace or Men's Club are considered the higher end. if you like skanky tatted latinas (which I do) then PTs or Sugars. All stars is the closest. If you go there and its not good then walk accross the street to Bone Headz. They usually have some smoking hot bar tenders. If you want happen to be here on a Sunday then hit up Hills and Dales. Also about a 5-10 min uber. It brings out the big titted young ones and the douches who love them but its a good view.
  10. Sucks that Penaldo plays his best game in United shirt vs us and Chelski just evaporate v Arsenal
  11. The less people in pre the better. But I also don't wait in the pre line either thanks to clear
  12. Fair enough. I don't think west of Msg was ever really viable nor have I ever seen much in the way of hotels in that area. I just didn't want people on the board to eliminate the 30s west because it's fine from my viewpoint. But in re-reading the warning of 7-9th agreed. I hooked 7-6 in there and east of 7th is fine
  13. Are there lots of excellent Korean restaurants in round Rock and you are a few feet from a train station to get you anywhere because they have that in the area of Harold Sq Are you two blocks away from Keens in round Rock? I actually think there is a Michelin star restaurant on 35th. Imagine avoiding that area like the plague just to take a taxi there for the restaurants.
  14. Literally stayed in Harold Sq in October. Zero issues. It's definitely not the best neighborhood for the average tourist but it's not to be avoided like the plague. Maybe everything has changed in the last 6 months but I doubt it
  15. There is nothing wrong with the Penn/Msg or Harold Square area. If you find a good deal on a hotel don't be a wuss about it. Sure there is a slightly seedy side to Penn and the Port Authority etc but to completely avoid it is dumb
  16. Well first of all. Don't just get one card. Get several. Hilton has a good card right now. My biggest issue is that if you have the Hilton AX it really benefits you to have evevry stay be with Hilton and for me thats not always the best choice hotel wise. Amex is great for the traveler.
  17. Federal judge blocks travel mask mandate
  18. Yup. Thats the stuff. It's all cleaned out now. Should shoot much much better
  19. Well at least the scum were just as bad as us today
  20. This is why I love Sat games. I've got all day to drink away the memories of this match
  21. Thats interesting you say this. I have an old British Enfield 303 that was a gift. I've shot it for fun for many years but was never very accurate. I found out that a friend of mine from HS is a gun smith. I found out by shipping a shotgun to him since he has the FFL license and while I was paying and he was taking down my DL information he figured out we went to HS together and so now I have a fair and trustworthy person to take my firearms to. So I take him my Enfield for a thorough cleaning and adjustment and he tells me that whoever owned it before never cleaned out all the grease from when it was stored after WWII. They did just enough for it to fire. I had no idea how they just covered the entire crate of rifles in grease to store them. Stock and all.
