  1. I wouldn’t say either are racing rightward politically. I would say they are moving in the same direction culturally, and voting Republican is semi-symptomatic. Not sure exactly what to call that direction.
  2. Understood, but in my opinion Nevada is both the most likely Biden state to flip this cycle.
  3. It’s the Big Sort at work. NV and GA are sprinting in opposite directions. Nevada is moving towards Florida. The crazy thing is that Arizona is moving the other way from NV, just more slowly.
  4. It’s true. Men in Texas are not responding well to the 12oz roll or sage blend. There are indications that until the 16oz roll is returned to market they will go back to making their own sausage like they did thirty years ago, despite agreeing that it’s not as good.
  5. Hello sir, would you like to be on The Lead with Jake Tapper? we are hoping you can join our panel of undecided voters who will watch a super cut of Kamala Harris bloopers mixed with fart noises and then tell us if you’ve made up your mind yet. /CNN, probably
  6. Private Mason at drop off, Lt Col. Maiseigh (she/her) at pickup.
  7. Hopefully at that time you can share who the left jailed and who is the left
  8. A few years ago I printed a bumper sticker that said “I only believe what I hear at Sportsman’s Barbershop, and I vote!”
  9. Welcome to a year go and Enjoy your 40k hours of footage
  10. False. He repeatedly suggested the JD intiate investigations and ultimately appointed a special prosecutor. He also illegally withheld foreign aid to Ukraine trying to get them to investigate or produce material on Biden, which is why he was impeached.
  11. It wasn’t for lack of trying: Wait can you provide an example of the left putting political enemies in jail? Also, who is “the left,” in your opinion?
  12. Couple things: Thing one: Stein is almost certain to overperform Harris. That said, I expect the spread to be tighter, and I think it’s very possible both Harris and Robinson could overperform their Election Day polling average in North Carolina for different reasons. Thing two: Over the last four elections, national polling averages have been off ~3 points (which isn’t much) and swing state polls have missed by 3-4. In 2008 and 2012, Obama overperformed. In 2016 and 2020, Trump overperformed. in BOTH cases the miss largely comes down to assumptions about the makeup of the electorate. So the assessment at this stage boils down to: 1) are the polls exactly right? 2) if not, who is being under/over weighted in the models, and 3) who do they vote for?
  13. 1) I’m not sure why some are arguing this point with you 2) It’s worth pointing out that Hamas sponsors understand this, and it was part of the reason they sent Hamas on an errand that has badly damaged the Palestinian cause and killed many innocent Palestinians. No one on earth woke up on October 8th and said “this attack benefits Palestine.” It didn’t even make sense for Hamas. The biggest geopolitical beneficiaries were Iran and Russia, in that it would weaken the pillars that hold up the world. I hope that as Arab Americans vote they understand that Israel is not acting as a US proxy in Gaza, and the Democratic Party and Kamala Harris are not Israel’s proxy in Michigan.
  14. Username checks out Not sure about this. The civil Cold War is well underway and skirmishes happen all the time. The question is whether it goes hot. I don’t think it’s out of the question that a red state governor with large blue cities would deploy their highway departments as police forces when cities don’t bend to their will or deploy their national guards in the event of peaceful, non-riot, non-mass protest community resistance. I don’t think it’s out of the question that travel between cities and states could become something we can’t take for granted. To me clear- I am not saying that this happens if Trump wins, or that Trump losing even makes this less likely. I am saying that history suggests our current trend is towards division and chaotic fragmentation.
  15. People on this board and blue safe spaces can laugh about the McDonald’s business, but I worry about the all these little stunts. He’s good at this and they work.
  16. One of my favorite AgWithKids moments on shaggy was when he said he was going to have to rethink whether he ate or tipped at restaurants that paid more than the minimum wage. To be clear- not talking about a law. I’m talking about restaurants paying the market rate to hire and retain employees.
