  1. I had so many of those action figures. Ended up selling them all and made enough to buy a NES with the robot.
  2. This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Being nice to let a person cross two lanes of traffic is being an asshole to the 100 other drivers behind you. Because you let one person cross while traffic should be flowing you just had a bunch of cars not pass through a light 15 yds back and traffic starts to back up. I'm now furious just thinking about it.
  3. My son finally got me to play this weekend, it is fun, but no kills for me and anytime I engaged someone I was quick work. I enjoy watching him play more since he is better and it is fun working on strategy with him while he is playing.
  4. How does it work for returning a whole damn mattress? Does someone come to your house and pack it up?
  5. Can we get a way to help you guys out monetarily like on the old site? Monthly or yearly? Just want to make sure you guys aren't taking a beating on the cost of hosting all us assholes. If not needed or desired delete thread.
  6. Sounds like you need the assistance of a realtor
  7. Then how will we get coaches to make fun of?
  8. I used direct link and it still doesn’t work.
  9. Somebody tell this clown he doesn't have to hit it from there.
  10. Pic in a lulz thread is working, but the pics in a Food and Travel thread are not.
  11. If this is the case why are some showing up and not others? I have one from yesterday still working, but 3 from last week that are not. Doesn't seem consistent enough for a hotlinking ban to Surly.
  12. Possibly the thread outside of NSAA that wasted more time than any other. We got updates for a year or two after, but I don't remember what happen last.
  13. Wasn't there a bond package 20ish years ago to fix the Y intersection with an overpass? I vaguely remember something like that, but the Oak Hill residents fought it and won out. Now they are begging for one. There used to be a strip of stores right after William Cannon all the way to the Y.
  14. Great post on HF. I shared it with everyone I could think of back then. Yes, he died about 6 years ago. Yes he was an attorney. Yes he was a DB in real life.
  15. Hornian on TOS was the name everyone said to use. Don't know if he made it over here.
  16. I have a post from 7 hours ago that is still working, but the ones from last week are no longer working.
  17. I drive it every day and try to stay in the right lane the whole way. At least that gives me an extra half a second to react. We moved out towards Dripping Springs 4 years ago and there has probably been close to 20 people die on that stretch. We came up on one a couple years ago that had just happened with a dead body laying in the the middle of the road. My 11 year old still talks about the time we saw the dead body. It badly needs to be reworked, but like Godzilla said, it is going to take a while. It is only going to get worse. I think I heard about year ago that they are expecting 10k new homes in the next 5 years on 290 west of the Oak Hill Y.
  18. I believe so. I never met him, but I recall a pic of him in a neck brace after an accident or some shit like that. I think people started to give him a lot of shit on TOS and he faded away. He was on HF as well before the move.
  19. Drug Emporium was in that strip center as well.
  20. My cousin had this game and I always wanted to play it, but his dad would never let us. Still haven't played it to this day.
  21. Chalke is pure smoke, Sweetin is not even close. I enjoyed it for what it was. 18+ million viewers is insane, especially since it got that for the 2nd episode as well. Episode 3 dropped to 15 million. If it stays anywhere near that for the rest of the season we will get a few more seasons.
  22. I got nothing southwest of Austin
  23. Caught a TD pass from Drew Brees on the beach in high school. This was before he was the starter at Westlake. Hung out with Stone Cold Steve Austin in a New Orleans bar. I was rather inebriated and put my hand on his shoulder and asked if wrestling was real or fake. He then put me in a headlock until I almost passed out, my friends just stood there and laughed not knowing what else to do. Saw Darrell Royal outside the stadium in a car about 2 years before he passed and he was looking pretty frail. I just looked at him, gave him a Hook'em. He looked right into my eyes and gave me the best Hook'em I have ever seen.
