  1. On iPhone I disable notifications and get caught up when I feel like it. But I have to admit the immediate family group chats can be pretty hilarious.
  2. I know nothing of the situation and have read both articles. I still know nothing....
  3. I completely forgot about DL and Skyteam. With DL's big bet on Austin, one of those carriers would make the most sense.
  4. Any Asian routes, it would seem to me, would be operated by a OneWorld carrier...that would be either Cathy Pacific or Korean, both of which already serve Dallas. Asiana, Singapore, Air China, Eva are Star Alliance serving Houston. Austin may be boxed in re: an Asian route by IAH and DFW....but what do I know....
  5. I fly a lot....I mean a lot...recently went to Australia with wife and two other couples, enjoyed it immensely but also almost went out of my mind....... I hate traveling with noobs. For the 2 weeks wife and I had one 29" checked bag and a carry-on. We checked the carry-on as well. My God our friends had so many bags and they kept hitting me up to help move their stuff around. I was able to "maintain" but wife could tell I was near boiling.
  6. Best airplane in the air. Be prepared to be impressed. They are awesome on long hauls.
  7. Based on these new rule changes we will never win in Stillwater again.
  8. There should airport security lines, separate from TSA Pre-check, for travellers who actually know how to get through a security checkpoint without being a complete dumbs**t
  9. I don't think I would want to visit one city for an entire week. Maybe, and I mean maybe, London
  10. IAH spoils you in a hurry.....
  11. Lobo, look for AUS-AMS in the near future operated w/an A330.
  12. No CR....but I thought this was pretty good...
  13. 207 Intel agencies had warned Sri Lankan authorities over a week ago
  14. Where did you fly into to start the trip in Carinthia?
  15. The cabins, if you can still rent one, at Bryce are worth the expense. Wife (no pics) and I stayed in one and we were about 50 yards (max) from the edge of the canyon. Food in Bryce Canyon Lodge was surprisingly good The Elk chili could not be beat. If you are fortunate enough to get a good rain that clears right before sunset, the canyon images seem almost photoshopped.
  16. GC north rim is better, fewer tourists. I believe there is a whole thread on southern Utah NPs. It shouldn't be hard to find. If the Mt Carmel highway from Zion to Bryce is closed that will be a big miss. At Zion do Angel's Landing, but it's not for kids. Freakin' white-knucker (no racists)
  17. don't you global services dude? It's also on twitter....at least @united teased it.
