  1. At this point, this seems like a fair assessment. I’ve tried to state away from condemning Ewers as a pussy, but I can see where it’s easy to lob that damning indictment at him. It’s clear that his game is finesse, not power and passion. He lacks the charisma, swagger, physical toughness, and durability that we want to see in our QB1. He’s a good college quarterback who has had flashes of great, but never elite. He’s good enough to get us to the CFP, but I’m not convinced about him leading the way to winning the whole thing. I’d love to be proven wrong and eat some crow.
  2. Dang Beck, don’t you know that “swing yer partner” is supposed to be followed by “do-si-do?” Very dumb TD celebration.
  3. The movie about this administration is gonna be awesome. If Idiocracy was a work of prophetic, satirical farce, this will be the sobering dark comedy that shows one of the tipping points where the critical mass was achieved for majority of this country to go all in on obeying the whims of the id.
  4. Rebels doing to Georgia what I thought we would see the Horns to do to them. Dammit.
  5. Maybe they’ll have a pillow fight on the plane ride home, too.
  6. I’ll look for “Aw Shucks Just a Good Ole Christian Man Stadium” the next time I drive up 281 through Stephenville.
  7. He looks to be in deep thought, having attained the wisdom and experience through his many years to earn those fully formed, reasoned, and well informed political and societal identities. Either that or a nearly brain dead fucking dolt whose neurons have never produced a single original thought or opinion. We don’t need him.
  8. How long until aggy puts this “achievement” on I-35 billboards?
  9. Voted yesterday in San Marcos, in and out under 10 minutes. I love seeing the people who volunteer as poll workers. If I happened to vote for both Harris and Allred, is it true that I will owe an apology to 3.2 fellow Texans who will lose their jobs? That’s what all of the campaign advertising from the very reliable and unbiased Franklin News Foundation has hammered into my mailbox and phone.
  10. It’s frustrating that this Texas team isn’t what we hoped it was, but between last week and today, we can confirm that this isn’t a championship team. From this point forward we can how to see improvement and how far we can go. Maybe they’ll surprise us.
  11. When Ryan and Mancuso are at periscope depth exchanging Morse messages with Ramius, while trying to keep their intentions from the respective crews, why did they acknowledge with active sonar pings instead of continuing to use the Morse signaling on the scopes?
  12. Quinn hasn’t had any legit swagger since coming back. He showed some fake swagger after running for that last TD against OU and the outcome of the game was long decided. When he’s healthy, dialed and legitimately confident, he’s as good as anyone. The first couple of games he was getting the ball out of hands quickly, making great decisions, sensing pressure and moving well in the pocket. I hope he either finds that swagger soon and gets back to balling or admits that his lack of confidence is coming from not being 100% healthy and let’s the coaches make the decision on the best starter.
  13. It is known. The gents from the Cum Town podcast have a good breakdown of his later work.
  14. This team needs a smack in the mouth to see how they respond if they want to be champions.
  15. I don’t really know who he is, but that pissy little manlet showed up in my feed about a month or so ago and I watched a few minutes of the video. He was walking a weird tightrope of begrudgingly acknowledging Texas as a potential contender, but also shitting on us. The effeminate look and whiny sound of him was annoying right away, but the thing that made me turn it off was a comment along the lines of, “Believe it or not, Texas is actually a somewhat respectable academic institution.” Strong aggy vibes, or maybe Sooner. Didn’t refer to Texas as a liberal school, so I’ll guess Sooner. Dork.
  16. Totally. One of the greatest parcours in cycling. And another ridiculous display of dominance
  17. That potential assault charge on a minor could have been bad, but I hope this isn’t true. Terrible.
  18. Aggy has been trying to warn us stupid sips about the SEC grind.
  19. How the hell did that not turn into a brawl? As sickening as taking the social media football slang “belt game” literally to the post game handshake is, it’s almost equally astonishing that none of the players on the losing team physically retaliated. I played HS football in Texas. I can’t imagine not trying to destroy someone for taking a belt to my ass in the postgame handshake. 77-0 says it all. A half game suspension for that kind of horseshit is a joke.
  20. Whether it’s athletes, employees, a charity event, or even your own family, most people’s bullshit detectors are calibrated finely enough to detect the difference between a pretender attempting to lead them through legislated authority and someone genuinely leading them with legitimate authority. I don’t think there’s any doubt that Sark leads with modeled behavior and legitimate authority, so it was only a matter of time before a critical mass of buy in was achieved with the players and staff to establish and maintain the genuine culture we’re seeing in the program. The leadership was established from the top down, and the players taking leadership roles are doing so with legitimate authority and not performative nonsense. It bodes well for the the present and future.
  21. What a renaissance man and true legend. What a life. The quality of my life is better because of what this great man shared with the world. Rest in peace.
