It certainly feels different this time around. Opponents are afraid. Some are in outright denial about what is happening. Meanwhile Iām approaching enjoy the view and coast to the win mode.
Great day yesterday for Bernie. Almost like he saved the release of his tax returns for a Fox News town hall on tax day in order to make a point to Trump, his supporters, and the remaining D skeptics. Trump is an obvious lying clown w something to hide and everyone else ready to criticize Bernie will find absolutely nothing. All Iāve got is Bernie singing w Russians on his honeymoon and this flopping like a fish out of water tax story. Everyone is left debating the actual issues and ideas as far as Bernie is concerned. I wonder who will win that debate.
Pretty good card tonight. Thinking Max and Israel but Dustin and Kelvin are pretty fucking good too. Maxās striking has improved enough to avenge the loss. Israel is fun to watch. They call him stylebender for a reason.
21 fucking years. I do not remember or know a Maverick game without Dirk. Was blessed to watch from the beginning. He literally made the Mavericks for me. Thanks Dirk. It was fun.

The biggest difference between 2016 and 2020 is that this time will likely see more than a dozen candidates vying for votes in Iowa and New Hampshire ā which means a candidate could win there with no more than 30% of the vote.
Thereās precedent for that. Jimmy Carter won Iowa with only 28% in 1976 and went on to win the nomination and the presidency. Twenty years later, Bob Dole won Iowa with 26% and won the Republican nomination.
If Sanders can win both Iowa and New Hampshire, even with narrow pluralities, heāll be the odds-on favorite for the Democratic nomination. Since 1972, five of six candidates who won both states in contested races went on to become their partyās nominee.
One lesson we should have learned from 2016 is that in fractured times, implausible outcomes are possible. Donāt count Sanders out.
If Bernie is able I doubt youāll find a supporter who will not back a Bernie 2024 campaign. We donāt really care about the age thing. At all. His mind is clear and he possesses the energy to get the job done. If this is still true in 2024 your damn right we have no problem w an 87 year old Bernie Sanders.
The sentiment that the leader of a movement should recognize his time has passed and step aside for someone else to lead is absurd in my eyes. A leader leads. This progressive leader will seemingly take a diverse representation of the next generation directly under his wings and show them the way. An administration full of Warrens AOCs Omars Khannas and Butts. This will be Bernieās greatest gift. The most progressive politician grooming the most progressive generation the country has seen. America will be unrecognizable from today if Bernie is a two term president.
I sometimes think of Bernie as the trojan horse. Aside from all the progressive ideas itās also filled with other progressive things like women, people of color, and empathy. The opposite of burning the city down will occur once inside the walls. At least in my story.
Iāve said Warren for VP in the past. I no longer believe Bernie will go this route based on what heās said. Think bt is on the right track w Nina Turner. Perhaps a Tulsi Gabbard just so Hugo can flip the fuck out.
The fact he has money isnāt going to sit well with the usual suspects regardless. He is a multi millionaire no doubt about it. Like you I donāt care if heās rich. Bernie has never made seeking wealth a bad thing. Everyone wants to be wealthy. Even Bernie supporters itās crazy. It will be great when America gets to see Bernieās and Trumpās returns only to find out Bernie is worth more money.
Now if itās something like Bama describes it would be bothersome. Iād want to know more. See what it all means. Sure this scenario is possible but all the evidence I have of who Bernie Sanders is points to the contrary. Why would I doubt him now?

idk wtf toofab is but it has the full Trevor Noah interview. The only link I can find to it. Anyway in it he asks about the returns insinuating Bernie is a billionaire. Iāve had similar thoughts. Not quite billionaire but Bernie has money. Just wait for the headlines on that one. Bernie stated he will release 10 years soon. I can only assume he is a fucking liar based on his past.
Nothing. Like that time he talked about grabbing them by the pussy. Or that one time he referred to white supremacists as good people. And then bizarro Bernie called the Mexicans killers and rapists. Went on to try and ban Muslims. Just the same as Trump supporters we stood by Bernie through it all.
That tweet says he should release his taxes. Iāve said on here he should. We also have a feeling based on his history he will do just that.
But Iām the bizarro.
Chip away at the bro narrative one voice at a time. One vote at a time even better. It rubs me the wrong way as a minority guy. I could imagine how a woman feels. A minority woman even worse. Get em Joy.
It is. Very good Tapper. Spell it out slowly. Let it come from someone the moderates may listen to. Paging all who are ready to write him off. Bernie is the man to beat. Believe the Biden frontrunner story at your own peril. That guy is dead on arrival.
Very good Bernie. Iād imagine being an old white guy has a lot of perks. One being going in front of an old white audience and that audience actually listening to what you have to say. Flip a small percentage of those Trump votes and this thing is a 2020 landslide.
