  1. Good comparison. Was Theranos intentionally being undermined by the most powerful government the world has seen? Let’s not let the lie be uncovered.
  2. https://www.salon.com/2013/03/06/hugo_chavezs_economic_miracle/ Some of that sounds like what’s still happening to Bernie. It’s not a horrible opinion when you get off the headline.
  3. This forum was made for some petty bullshitery. Hit me. I would be surprised. That’s what this thread is for. So far all I’ve got is he’s old, tax returns, and a bunch of horseshit. No facts or substantive arguments. Feel free to help me out here at any time. You and me both.
  4. Better sarcasm. At least he’s doing something. Please be disappointed with all the candidates who follow his lead. Press release won’t be necessary. The MSM has actually covered some of it. It’s out there take a look. There was even the head of a union speaking at Bernie’s kickoff rally. Don’t think that one got covered too much. He has some nice words for Bernie and his commitment to the worker. I’m sure fighting Trump’s vast disinformation empire can be time consuming so I’ll give you a pass this one time. It’s been one time right?
  5. Very well then. Why would the democratic socialist who has always pushed for the unionization of workers for better treatment in the workplace allow his campaign staff to unionize after his very own 2016 campaign workers had problems?
  6. Does not compute. It would cease being a union.
  7. All out war. Please don’t let this happen. I have my preference but someone better run away w this or win by a significant margin.
  8. Campaigning to get elected and what one does when the chips are on the table... two very different things.
  9. An ambassador is appointed. I doubt Bernie sent bt here to lecture anyone. Letting someone influence a decision like who you think should be President is weak. Let alone someone you dislike on a message board.
  10. You’ll get em Hugo. Have a little faith.
  11. I agree something isn’t right with Castro. Wanted Bernie and Warren to start. Warren has dropped a bit for me. I’d go Bernie, Yang, Butt, Warren and then Harris/Beto in that order right now. I think Yang will pull the party left. Great. Pete is pretty good overall. Just view those two as more progressive than Warren, Harris, and Beto. Bernie started the progressive movement long ago. He knows DC. Think this is important at this point in time. He is a dog. He is the only one I trust to not give an inch across his platform and fight for what he told the people he would fight for. His history speaks for itself and that is not going to change. I’m riding w Bernie until the end. He’s earned it.
  12. Why would he impact what you think of Bernie?
  13. Bernie passed up a golden opportunity to go bt on em
  14. Well not with that attitude. It’s all plausible. How the fuck did we ever make it out of a cave?
  15. Idk missing that one is borderline neg worthy
  16. Bernie Bro is fake news. What was the intent behind this label? Insinuate only white bros are inspired by Bernie? Why? To what end? What a bullshit label. https://www.vox.com/2019/3/7/18216899/bernie-sanders-bro-base-polling-2020-president An analysis of recent polls from November of 2018 to March 2019 shows Sanders is more popular with people of color than white people, and women like Sanders as much as men do, if not more. He leads every other possible 2020 contender with Latino voters and lags behind only Joe Biden — who hasn’t announced a bid yet — with African-American voters. Sanders’ polling numbers with black voters are double that of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), according to a March Morning Consult poll. Support for Sanders is split evenly between men and women, and he polls better than every other 2020 contender with Hispanic voters, with 21 percent saying they’d vote for him if the election were held in January. He picked up 12 percent of African-American voters, far behind Biden’s 33 percent but just ahead of Harris’s 11 percent, and leaps and bounds ahead of Booker’s 6 percent. But in this poll, Sanders’s support is driven by voters ages 18 to 44, more so than any other candidate in the race right now. The older, and wealthier, the voter gets, the less interested they are in Sanders. These results are consistent with five national polls between November 2018 and March 2019 — and with exit polls from 2016 primaries.
  17. Obviously. Obvious. You’re like a crab on the beach in the way of a tsunami. You see the blue wall getting closer just don’t know it’s going to wash you away. It’s good to know you’ll be swept up tho. Like you have a choice at that point. I hope you survive. You’d be an asset to the team. I know you can make it. You’ll be alright.
  18. I agree. And that is where your problem with him rests. It’s not Russia or him being old or him being a leader. Perhaps you think your ideas are bigger than the party? By the looks of it the majority have sided with Bernie.
  19. Self centered egomaniac? Bernie bigger than his ideas? Bypass the party altogether? Are we talking about Bernie Sanders? Environment and rights of the people. Despite what we’ve been told since birth there isn’t anything more important than human beings and the planet we live on. These things simply can’t be overlooked. What Bernie fights for is non negotiable. Get your shit together America and I’ll be here screaming and waiting was his approach. What else could he do? Surrender or give up I suppose. You keep mentioning AOC and Warren like they somehow contrast Bernie. They don’t. They closely align with Bernie. Perhaps even follow his lead?? Warren has certainly come a lot closer to Bernie politically than when she started. Not the other way around. AOC only campaigned for him in 2016. He has never made it about himself. His ideas have always been far bigger than him. Bernie could of easily went the way of every politician and sat there collecting money taking it easy. He has worked with Democrats his entire career despite having significant philosophical differences. We aren’t talking about the same person.
  20. I disagree. Bernie is very effective at delivering his message. The medium is what has changed. It’s the Internet Hugo. Perhaps AOC has a slightly better understanding of the technology but Bernie has done a masterful job of harnessing the Internet to get his message out. That wasn’t available to him 40 years ago. He could easily be silenced. Not anymore. He can now communicate directly to the people without interference. That is what changed. We have different definitions of leader. Bernie is the epitome of a leader. I can only assume you say this because he doesn’t work together as you see it. He couldn’t Hugo. You have to understand it’s all been too fucked. Doing what is right following your soul when faced with insurmountable odds. That is a leader. Bernie will be one of the greatest leaders the nation has ever seen if given the opportunity.
  21. Bernie is about the issues. He is about his business today. Definitely not yesterday. He sounds like a broken record because nobody has been listening the past 40 years. The issues are the same. Bernie is how you’ve come to describe him. He is genuine. You can’t argue the record. The grumpiness comes from being called crazy while being the only sane one. He has earned the right to wear his displeasure and disgust on his face.
  22. I was going to go with an individual not taking any shit from you by age 3.
