  1. Trying to hit a fucking tape measure shot every time up. Only succeeds in hitting pop-ups. This approach ain’t gonna get you that 8 year deal, bro.
  2. Here’s my favorite. It always made my dad belly laugh so very nostalgic memories from growing up:
  3. I enjoyed sports radio this morning suggesting that Blair Henley won a promotional "Pro for a Day" contest put on by the Astros 😂
  4. Rangers didn’t get a runner to second base after the first inning. THAT is how you do it, bullpen!!!
  5. So he had to travel back to Houston today for docs to take a look at his elbow. I assume he went in the Framberlamps.
  6. Doesn’t sound like news we want to hear. Ugh.
  7. I heard on the radio that once the Texans restructured his deal, they forfeited their right to a compensatory pick if he walks in FA. I have no idea which one is right, that guy clearly believes they get the pick. 🤷‍♂️
  8. Yes, I know. I’ve known Hannah a long time. Our posts don’t contradict one another.
  9. Accurate user name, yada yada. Fuck Spurs fans.
  10. Again, I continue to be surprised in how Caserio has handled this past 12 months like a maestro, and continue to be glad to eat my words that this would never be a successful franchise with the McNairs at the helm. On that subject, I truly believe the main factor in letting go of the reins, firing Easterby and changing the culture has been Janice McNair losing her power over the organization. Whether due to health or realization that she had been hoodwinked by O’Brien and Easterby. She was the one that bought all the Bible thumping bullshit, and now she’s clearly out of the equation.
  11. Sounds like a typical sunshine fan of convenience from San Antonio. Welcome to the bandwagon, I guess.
  12. The fuck was that. Goddamn awful. Reeks of the Brett Wallace days.
  13. Nope, he wants at least 8 years, which is more ridiculous than $30mm per.
  14. It seems like Yordan has juuuust missed about 5 HR.
  15. Frustrating. Caratini looked at about 5 strikes.
  16. That’s what you do with middle-middle, Abreu
  17. Making him work a bit more but of course Abreu whiffs way late on a 93 mph meatball that perfectly caught the middle of the plate.
  18. 7 pitches, 4 outs. Let’s change the approach guys.
  19. Time for Yordan to turn things around.
  20. Yes, sorry for my pedantic joke. I feel pretty good about his ability to keep it together. The guy is built like a house and if he can keep that fastball 93-95 and locate that changeup on a regular basis, watch out. Obviously the league will adjust to his first game throwing changeup on more than a third of his pitches. But if he can continue to locate and “tunnel” as they say these days, no reason to think he will be just a flash in the pan.
