  1. Dem 2020 policy positions can be left, just cannot be absurd. Pubs will portray them as far left regardless. But they must present positions that give activists reason to be excited, and the 2-3% who are real swing voters (whether it's from one party to the other, or from non-voter to voter) reason to listen. Dems have to convince people their lives really could change for the better. That probably means at least a riff or three off of things you would consider far left.
  2. How else are they supposed protect them from their sex trafficking donors?
  3. So we have no principles, those non-existent principles lose a lot, and many times when these things that don't exist lose, we're harmed. Who said you can't divide by zero?
  4. Texas re-elected an AG under indictment, Danny Goeb and gave Goodhair 3 terms. Might as well add us, too.
  5. AOC’s emergence is a good thing. Fox and the rest spend much of their time running down someone not on the ballot, and who clashes a bit with House leadership. When the Dem nominee is picked, there’ll be less room in the little pea brains of their viewers to fill with more relevant lies.
  6. Libs need to make up their mind. Is “trans-“ a good prefix or a bad prefix? Transfat, bad, transgender, good. It’s all so confusing.
  7. Still waiting for the taco trucks on every block. The five blocks I currently have to walk is rough on my suits in July and August.
  8. This comment from that golf swing IG above tells us why we’re here: ”name 1 thing he lied about” This planet deserves better than us.
  9. Tulsi isn’t worth worring about right now. The nominee will likely be Harris, Beto, Sanders or Biden. Now if she goes full comrade and pulls a Jill Stein . . .
  10. I feel no sense of validation in having confirmed my suspicions of the depravity of some right-wing folks in their attitudes towards brown people. I can only hope that their reign of terror will end and their former right-leaning masters put them back in their place. The GOP establishment should remember this dark time and use their dog whistles more sparingly until they do not resonate at all.
  11. For this issue to have any resonance with voters in 2020, y’all pro-lifers need to get the infant-in-chief off the front page now and again.
  12. It's a work of art called "Variations on a Flag Code Violation."
  13. Outside of rapists, is anyone really happy they signed with Baylor?
  14. Show your work, please. According to the scatter chart at Govtrack (https://www.govtrack.us/congress/members/beto_orourke/412575), he appears to be left-of-center, with high scores from liberal groups, and low-to-moderate from right-leaning ones. I can't say you're wrong, because I didn't follow his legislative work, only his Senate campaign, so lay it out.
  15. From any decent tailor who can find that fabric.
  16. Incorrect. He popularized a celebration made by our enemies. He might be the worst human ever.
  17. Mayfield was there 3 years. The first 2, LR was the OC/QB coach. Kyler was there 2 years.
  18. Will Hurd is the only person in that section of the article who is "in the House." So, now standard election hypocrisy and slipperiness is "Trumpian?" jlaw-ok.gif
  19. People don't go to the games, so why should ESPN expect people to watch?
  20. Don’t forget about being Brad Buckman’s dad’s roommate while winning two national titles along with Tom Kite!
  21. Just use emergency powers to enroll everyone in Medicare. Then: Deficit is dangerously high - emergency tax increase. Climate change not being addressed and our habitat is endangered - emergency carbon tax. Our political system is in crisis - emergency campaign finance reform. The immigration issue rots the minds of right- wing morons - emergency comprehensive immigration reform. Our freedom to chill is in peril - emergency pot legalization. Ou continues to suck - emergency ... nope, no government policy can fix that.
  22. The south used to be home to yellow dog Dems. Now about half are child-rapist Republicans.
  23. I think they should show it, but this is dumb. 1. University policy has nothing to do with any of this. 2. The snowflake attitude isn't confined to any one segment of the electorate. 3. The rabble who don't already know about this clusterfuck won't watch this. Netflix/Hulu/Prime won't be interrupting your stream. However, the olds will watch this. And as we've seen, if they're the FNC olds, they'll lap it up. If they're not, and they'll probably find something else to do.
  24. Don’t quote. Don’t @. He’s not conversing with anyone, he’s vomiting on y’all. He has an incurable disease and needs to be quarantined.
  25. That or go old school with the sign language interpretation:
