  1. How was your day, Lloyd? Ok. Fell off the jet bridge again.
  2. what's your "buy more to throw on top of the existing pile" price? I need to do some cost-averaging down ... currently in at .20. Taking some quick profit on ALPP might help :).
  3. ALPP touched 2.35 long enough to fill my order, so I'm in for a medium stake ... legggoo!
  4. Fuck I wasn't gonna stay up and sweat this, but I'm glad I happened to make it to the DeKalb drop. This is amazing.
  5. I'm not trying to trade AH. But I do have a limit order that's open, and I'd rather not fill mine at 2.45 and then have the stock sit at 1.45 if that's where it opens.
  6. What do you guys see after-hours on ALPP? eTrade ticker is showing 1.59 bid and 6.00 ask, which seems a BIT odd. I've got an order in at 2.45, but don't want to buy at 2.45 at the open only to have the price set at 1.60 or whatever for the day.
  7. Was just noticing this. Took the kids to putt putt this morning, so wasn't stonking. Wondering what lower support ALPP might see - might set a limit order and try to catch a dip, maybe catch the shorts first thing tomorrow AM. 2.25? 2.35? Thoughts?
  8. Thus, RJ, and KI continuing to get carries (at least early in the season).
  9. I don't think anyone is arguing this. The modern game requires 3, if not 4 capable RBs, due to tempo, but we need an established #1 in the worst way.
  10. Yeah, I think the guy who gave up his lifelong (and recruited-into) position to help fill a drastic need on the team, then stuck with that position even with the arrival of a 5* blue chip, picks up blocking assignments and doesn't fumble, when he runs runs HARD, and you've never heard a single solitary negative word about him has earned himself a little bit of leeway.
  11. Fuckin hell that was difficult to understand. I think I get their point, but I'm not 100% sure.
  12. Was there with my (now) wife. Fucking amazing. Never seen a pregame like it, before or since. I personally saw people with a thousand dollars in cash in their hands, looking for a "just get me into the stadium" ticket, and not finding one. Goddamn that was fun.
  13. And the desert wandering continues ... this dude might actually die on the sidelines.
  14. The pic of Magnolia hit me in the gut. My all-nighter location of choice in college.
  15. None that came through on the eTrade feed, just shows it languishing at .0012. What a wild morning for ALPP too.
  16. The VERY FIRST THROW on that highlight reel is under thrown by four or five yards. Eagles has three full steps on the defender, and when the ball finally arrives, the defender actually has an outside shot at a PBU. That ball should be WAY farther in front of Eagles. It's a good read and good decision, but it's a hallmark average throw.
  17. I bought the same machine, and I run it with the 60v flex volt batteries. Like you, I have a lot of the DeWalt 20v line, so this made sense. Honestly, it might be the best of all of my cordless tools. We've got a largish lot, and each season we have to limb some trees, clear some shrubs, etc. This thing took down up to 3" diameter oak and cedar limbs with no issue, and was WAY easier to carry around than a huge gas powered thing, and cutting overhead limbs is WAY less dangerous. Chain still seems sharp after a days use, and I got about 45 cuts in live limbs before having to change that battery. Know what you're asking it to do, and you won't be disappointed.
  18. Well, two full days of curing is definitely better. It's less scratch-prone than yesterday, although still not where I want it. But I'm hopeful.
  19. Great rec; appreciate it. I'm ~100 pages into Washington. Holy fuck was he a shitty young General. I had no idea that he quite literally started the French and Indian (or Seven Years' War). Yeah, it war would undoubtedly broken out eventually anyway, but he straight up bull-in-a-china-shopped his negotiations and got a couple hundred Virginians killed in the process. But no doubt dude understood people, the value of land, and the value of sucking up to one's social superiors.
  20. Not easily ... tabletop runs into the drywall.
  21. Polyurethane finish question. I've used oil-based poly before; after three coats on a desk I built for my son, that finish is quite hard. It's difficult to scratch, to the point where I can't mark it with a fingernail. I feel like it cured to that level of durability in 3-4 days, but the toughness was evident 24 hours after the last coat was applied. On a current desk I'm building for my wife, I grabbed water-based poly. The lower VOC count appealed to me, as the design mandates that I do at least the last two coats indoors (it's a built-in with trim work, so the big piece had to go in and the get finished out all together). I've got three coats on now, which is what the back of the can recommends. Applied with a foam brush, liberally. Sanded with 400 grit between coats as well, and all the application and drying time was at a temp above 65 degrees. The finish LOOKS amazing. Flat, no bubbles anywhere, I even managed to keep cat hair out of it. But it's not strong. I can scratch it with a fingernail. I know it will cure SOME over the next couple of weeks, but I'm disappointed right now. Will it strengthen over time? Should I think about applying more coats? Am I up a creek? I just envision her using her craft supplies, or even just a laptop on this thing, sliding it around during normal work, and leaving light tracks. Those things add up over time, and I know it'll be all I see when I go in that room.
  22. Some of the posts on this thread, and a LOT of the twitter comments, are exactly the reason why athletes almost never say anything heartfelt or honest. Because they get crucified for it, no matter what they say. Have passion? You're showboating. Talk honestly about business/money/the situation? Can't you just have some passion? Talk about your love of the game? Ah, you're just grandstanding. Talk about how the team sucks? Stop throwing your teammates under the bus. Talk about how you're winning? Stop bragging. It's literally a no-win situation. The only way to escape all this bullshit is to be as bland as possible, and never show any human emotion. JJ Watt was asked "how do you bounce back from this?" and he gave a heartfelt answer about his love of the game, and his acknowledgement that people pay to watch him play and that's why going back tomorrow and doing the work isn't hard. That's it. Watching that clip, you can tell that he's just speaking from the heart, and isn't trying to build a narrative, or comment on the state of the team, or call out a teammate. His pronouns in that answer are royal pronouns - "if YOU can't get excited, then you're in the wrong job" isn't a dig at anyone, it's rhetorical, he's just answering the damn question. It was a great answer, and Watt has consistently proven himself to be one of the good guys. Can't we just accept that on it's face?
