An 80 year old white dude shot a black kid in the head for ringing his door bell, then shot him again after he fell to the ground.

Pew! Pew!
Trump proposed funding to research the mental health effects of gender transformation medicines.
That actually happened. It ain’t the guns, it’s the trannies.
@fattyflattie I know you’re waiting eagerly for your GOP reps to put forth some sensible gun reform measures.
Did you have a chance to review the proposals put forth by GOP leaders in Indianapolis?
Since we’re dealing with a bipartisan issue here, I’d love to hear what proposals were put forth by the various GOP leaders that spoke at the NRA convention.
I don’t think so.
Putin’s power is near absolute at this point. Navalny withering away in jail is no longer a threat.
He’s a much bigger threat to the next ruler in a post-Putin Russia that has to feign change in order to try and reconstitute relations with the rest of the world.
Keep an eye out here:

I still think someone killing this guy is a canary in the coal mine for a coup.
I also think that as our economies decouple the odds of conflict increase.
Basically if you pictured that gamecast prediction trend line, IMO it’s steadily trending up.
I’m sure it doesn’t work this way but I picture the US government constantly updating their probability of an event taking place like that ESPN gamecast prediction thing that gives a win percentage likelihood based on what’s happening.
If that existed, I wonder what that has looked like overtime with regards to the likelihood of an armed conflict with China…?
So my serious answer @atomheartbevo is I don’t think you’ll be convinced. You seem very certain on how very complex things are going to shake out.
You use Putin as an example for why Xi won’t invade Taiwan. Maybe Putin is the perfect example for why Xi will invade Taiwan.
We don’t know, but when Xi tells his military to be ready to attack Taiwan in a few years, and then builds a military to do exactly that, it might be an indication of his plans.
I do agree with you it doesn’t make sense (to me). But I’m not sure “making sense” fits neatly into much going on in the world these days.
Look I’m just not convinced starting 2 true freshmen and a redshirt sophomore that couldn’t beat a guy with drop foot last year is a good thing for our OL.
