  1. Kodi will work too. However, I don't have to find the stream on XBMC, that is done automatically once I select the channel of my choice. Add "Daddy Live" (or many others) as a video add-on to Kodi and it does the same...
  2. Yup, and Kodi is easy to install on any Amazon device with a few tweaks... (if anyone needs directions, visit troypoint.com for instruction on Kodi installation as well as the various plug-ins...)
  3. Just get a XBMC box for $100 and watch anything you want for free. Every imaginable sports channel you want, it has and it's free after the initial $100 for the box. Or just download install Kodi for free... But both Kodi and an XBMC box rely on streams and for me at least, finding a decent stream for this game sucked... At least no more need for live LHN anymore...
  4. Just saw this game review by a couple of Sooners that basically kept swallowing the orange sword praising the way we played...
  5. PSA- with this heat, check your tire pressure. Mine were at 40 today...
  6. The last 2 bills I got had recommended amounts below the tip line for 18%, 22% and 25%. I usually tip 20%+ UNLESS they use the total amount which includes the tax in the total when calculating their recommended tip %... Sorry, I'm not tipping you on the total including the taxes...
  7. "Week 0 Saturday September 26 (Times Central):" Glad week 0 is a month after week 1...
  8. Our MUD installed "wireless" water meters in the past few years. I'm waiting for them to start using those to tell when people are "illegally" watering their yards at night - currently restricted to 2 nights a week based on the address - to start sending out fines...
  9. Seeing your post made me think - why not use the holes that were for the volleyball net to add extra umbrellas... Thanks!
  10. I have an oak that covers part of my pool. I can always tell when it's Polaris days as that's the few weeks when the oak starts dropping acorn in my pool and my cleaner is in the shop...
  11. Probably been said before but a water feature is a must with this heat. We run ours overnight a few times a week to drop the water temperature and it makes quite a difference especially since the freezes killed off most of our shade (Japanese blueberry bushes).
  12. Blame Tonga... With Links to NASA and European Space Agency technical papers on reasons for the current heat increase globally... (Volcanic cause and not man-made CO2 increases...)
  13. Coming home to a garage freezer that crapped out and full of meat really sucks...
  14. Left 95 degree Barcelona for a few days in 70 degree highs in London before heading back to the Texas blast furnace... Loved my buddy giving me his rooftop apartment with a huge terrace in BCN for a week but didn't know that there wasn't an elevator... 79 frigging steps up with a wife who loves packing her suitcases to 49.9 pounds... Luckily, you can get cases of wine delivered to your door...
  15. 1 (maybe 2) episodes dropping tonight
  16. Evening on the Med in Spain does not suck…
  17. Talked to a UA 777 pilot neighbor of mine as I'm concerned about out trip from IAH to LHR on the 4th. He said that - as of today - they are "protecting" international flights from delays... (He's working a desk while he is training on a new airplane certification.)
  18. Aren't these delays related to the smoke and weather in the NE?
  19. Maybe it's just me but my first thought would have been "get this crap off my bed"...
  20. I just did a trip through the neighborhood - bunch of pine needles on some branches in mine but I saw at least 4 houses with trees with >24" trunks sitting on houses about a mile west of me... (Woodlands)
  21. I was out on the patio when the rain came it but didn't notice the winds being any more than normal when I went inside or when I went out to fire up the generator. (Lost power for just 30 minutes). Didn't see any trees down this morning when I walked the dog. (I just didn't notice it being that strong but don't doubt the readings...)
  22. Yea, I usually pour some bleach down every time I change the air filters but got lazy and didn't do it this time... Argh... Pinch-a-penny pool supplies sells 2.5 gallons of bleach for $12 bucks and I had 4 jugs on-hand but didn't pour any in this time... (I was actually thinking - "man, I better go pour some bleach with all this heat" a week ago but didn't...) And I just had service on the units a few months ago and they put my pool tablets in the pan but obviously didn't work...)
  23. Forgot to pour bleach down my upstairs sinks in awhile and one of my upstairs sinks -that shares drainpipe with the A/C condensation pan - overflowed…. Argh…
