  1. Yeah but I didn't see it. Almora was the hitter and it obviously shook him up pretty badly.
  2. Holy shit! Are you a family of five?
  3. Price is done.
  4. So you took pictures of your tray from every angle... And you have your shadow in every one of them? 😉 And what do you mean by disney world? That Gaines Silo thing all the tourists line up for?
  5. At nearly sixty, I loved Happy Endings. Just ask your mom. It's available on Hulu.
  6. On Saturday - Snow's BBQ Rest of the week - Coffee and a few times a year, breakfast tacos with eggs, bacon or sausage, cheese and salsa on corn tortillas. Beans not necessary but optional. Even more rarely, bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon.
  7. That was turrible.
  8. Yeah I'd read that on another thread, but just had to bust yer chops. npi
  9. So Buck's is dead. Long live... Farley Girls??? At least we now know where to go for cucumber sandwiches and afternoon tea. 😉
  10. Can't quite put my finger on it, but I sense you are doing something wrong. 😉
  11. I'm pretty sure that's a modern reproduction. Think about it - what practical use did a subsistence native have for that? He wasn't hunting dragons. Look at how big of a tree trunk you would need to haft that thing. You couldn't pick it up, much less throw it. And any ritual piece would be far more finely worked than that. An artifact with any age to it, lying in the dirt for any length of time would produce a dull oxidation on the surface called the "patina". That has none. That said, this is a great idea for a thread and as many country boys and hunters as we have on this site, I'll be there are quite a few authentic collections out there. I have a few dozen of my own collected in Lee, Polk and Williamson Counties. So let's see some of what you guys have picked up. I am very interested.
  12. Here's Serious Eats Editors' List
  13. I see what you did there.
  14. I'm thinking of going back and re-watching it from the beginning so I can enjoy it one more time before these last few episodes ruin it forever. I don't follow online threads except for this one and the bookfags one, (having also read the books), so I'm not too worried about spoilering it. The Kong's Island and Starbuck's scenes are pretty disappointing.
  15. Congratulations Jim. We all wish you the best and like someone above said, now there's a great reason to head down to Galveston. I noticed in last paragraph of the article they noted that the old place is "highly regarded".. Shoutout to the Surl?
  16. Avatar yada yada.
  17. Yeah, it shows. 😉
  18. What we need is a Smokey and the Bandit caper to Colorado. We'll call it, "Tokey and the Bandit". Who's in?!?
  19. Canecutter has provided some excellent information, but I would like to clarify one thing. All of the coins in the OP are well circulated. There's not really a problem with touching them. Your pulling them out and admiring them once in a while, (that's what she said), won't affect the value at all. Now you shouldn't clean them with anything that might scratch them, but holding them in your hand won't hurt them. Now if they were "Proof" or in "Uncirculated" condition that would be different, but in this case, "No".
  20. I don't believe a breakfast taco MUST have beans. Apparently that makes me a freaking heretic.
  21. If you do decide on San Francisco, be sure to print this map and take it with you. It will help your plan your poop tour. 😁
  22. Seems reasonably priced if it's any good. (Not a great photo tho'.)
