  1. It was a Back to The Future reference, bruh. Also, it didn't burn down. It was torn down and replaced by the current main building and Tower
  2. You answered your own question. Would you prefer to get him cheap or end up in a huge bidding war in 3 years?
  3. I’m not convinced it’s chicken. Looks more like plate of pig fetuses
  4. Says it right in the caption, but it was the Main Building. Due to a mysterious event on November 12, 1955 at 10:04 PM, it was struck by lightning and burned to the ground. The Tower was then built in its place. I’m not usually one to call out “username,” but c’mon
  5. What kind of mouth-breathing wind bag doesn’t have a favorable opinion of bagpipes?!?
  6. I think the most impressive part of the whole thing is that he managed to dismount EXACTLY where they hoped he would. You can see they add a few yards of something as a CYA, but he landed dead center on the crossing. Solid math to start and end at exactly the same spot ETA: I see I wasn’t the only one to notice this. Guess it was kinda the point
  7. I only moved about 15 minutes from home. My mother came to my apartment once and quickly decided she wasn't ever making that mistake again. You can set boundaries regardless of distance.
  8. I think the only possibility he gets away with using a nuke is if it’s on his own soil. He could hit college station and have plausible deniability that he confused it for Russia
  9. 247 is still the best at that as far as I can tell, but I prefer On3 for actual recruit rankings/news. Can’t wait til they get all the extra bells and whistles like 247
  10. Kinda surprised nobody out there hasn’t just started doing edits right after Fawcett posts his. Send them to the kids or just tag the players in them when posting. The guys aren’t just going to ignore awesome content with their names/faces on it. Eventually people will start contacting that person. As long as they can keep secrets, they’ll get a good bit of business before long
  11. His momma calls it 14-0, imma call it 14-0
  12. Well, they've lost much of their naval fleet to a country without a navy. Don't have to think very hard to imagine how it would hold up against ours.
  13. Counterpoint: The fact that 90% of people already have their preference is irrelevant. Ensuring that your people stay engaged and actually show up to vote is what really matters. And with the way things have been in recent elections, grabbing a few of those "undecided" 10% can be all the difference, especially in down-ballot races, which is one reason why it was so great to see the Harris campaign giving a huge chunk of their money to be used for those races.
  14. Gotdamnit that makes my blood boil. The worst part about it, well, not the worst part ... the worst part is him saying we just have to accept it as a part of life ... but the second worst part is that he's so close to saying what a majority of the country would be in favor of re: gun control. We aren't ever going to take ALL guns away from everybody. It just ain't gonna happen, at least not in the foreseeable future, and its not even something I personally support. But he says "if you're a psycho and you want to make headlines..." Hey, dipshit, that's what a lot of us are begging for! Make it impossible for "psychos" to get guns! Have far stricter requirements for who can get a gun. Make sure people that develop mental illnesses have their guns taken away until they are mentally stable again. Invest in mental health to prevent people from going down that path, and help them get out of it when they do. That's not enough in my opinion, but it's a huge first step. A step that the majority of Americans are in support of. And we'll never get to the second, third, fourth, etc steps without taking the first one. And then he admits that he doesn't want his kids to have to go to school feeling like they need tons of additional security. Great! Let's focus on things further upstream in the pipeline that are both a) more effective, and b) much less expensive. Fuck! Fuck these monsters!
  15. Curious as to what the republican talking point is re: tariffs and how they aren't anything more than a tax on Americans. It's obviously not a vehicle to change the amount of money spent by us as a whole. What was that dude trying to say about how it works with some countries? I understand there are benefits in certain industries to allow American producers to compete on a level playing field (that's irrelevant to the issue being discussed), but do they actually have some sort of nonsensical argument as to how increased tariffs will translate to better childcare options?
  16. I'd bet very few states, if any, require more than a high school (or equivalent) degree plus maybe CPR certification.
  17. I’d be fine if one side was bars, but I won’t complain if it’s four walls
  18. I don’t make bets about nonsense with unserious people. You have my blessing to make bets with anyone willing to trust that you’ll pay up.
  19. You said any amount, let @Longhorn_Fan68 set it at whatever he wants. You don’t need my blessing. Put your money where your mouth is, and take every bet that’s proposed to you.
  20. Meh. Maybe. Highly doubt it. But does anyone seriously think Ivanka would’ve even been charged with, much less convicted of, a felony while Trump was in office? Now, Don Jr? If Trump gets reelected, he’ll definitely let them out Jr in prison for his role in getting couchfucker on the ticket
  21. Trump’s DOJ is totally out of control here! Going after the President’s son is 100% political, and shouldn’t ever be tolerated in this country. Wait, what? This is the second time “Biden’s DOJ” has gotten a felony conviction against Hunter? Obviously just a deep state thing to make it look like they aren’t totally corrupt. I’ve had enough of these socialist fascists that love their communism so much. Free Trump! Also, lock her up. ^^ Some variance of that has been said somewhere in all seriousness.
  22. That's fucking wild. I'm shocked there aren't some sort of sensors that automatically detect wifi networks on our ships. Seems like kind a of a no-brainer, and an extremely easy deterrent against a foreign agent slipping a transmitting device aboard. Also, the network was named "Stinky" and wouldn't it show as an available, albeit locked, wifi network to anybody who bothered to check their phone/computer to see if they were near enough shore to get a signal? Should be pretty obvious that "Stinky" wouldn't be an official Naval network.
  23. It’s an acronym, representing a ~3000 word anecdote
  24. Right? With that crazy early season storm, we thought we were all doomed…and then basically nothing. Feels ominous.
  25. It’s the touchdown play, right?
