  1. Well, most everyone here is relatively intelligent, many with actual knowledge and understanding of the military, and most importantly, a real person. None of which is true about Twitter.
  2. That's really cool. The US Air Force OR the Army, could individually take on the entire combined air fleet of Russia and have a substantial advantage.
  3. From near the end of that balcony video above, it looked like a Gepard or other type of AA gun firing. Since there weren't any hits on the ground, I assume they were also succesful in knocking down whatever was incoming (maybe just drones, but either way, that's great to see a 100% success rate from).

  5. I’ve said this up thread somewhere, but before the invasion of paddle boards the only people that ever went into the water was Texas Crew, that one pontoon tour boat company, and the occasional canoes from Zilker. The massive increase in the lake being turned into a recreational area would naturally lead to an increase in people thinking it was safe to swim in, especially young folks that haven’t lived here long. The number of deaths would naturally correlate to the enormous shift in it becoming a recreational body of water.
  6. There’s no way you can possibly look at these two situations the same way. You couldn’t dismiss someone getting blown up by saying they were drunk and wandering around alone. There was obviously someone responsible for making bombs. There isn’t any other possibility in that situation.
  7. Here's his website. https://covertinstruments.com/
  8. And if that fails, there's always the moose out front.
  9. Hitchcock did it better.
  10. Wrong. Driver: Drive. Focus on road. Be sober and follow laws. Choose music. Control Waze, unless there is a change in plans then passenger can reprogram and hand back control. Choose temperature. Passenger: Designated texter. If child, shut the fuck up. If adult, you may tell me entertaining stories. Back seat: If child, shut the fuck up. If adult, you may tell me entertaining stories.
  11. It feels like every time I get an eagle, a bunch of you assholes also get it. I want my special moment in the sun, damnit!

  13. Edit: Wrong thread…
  14. Truly the oldest stuff would be baseball cards, but if current-use is required, it’s various tools I started buying around 10 years old when my old man bought me a car to fix up. Guarantee many of my sockets and wrenches are ~30 years old, probably lots of other stuff as well. Gonna keep my eyes open for a few days thinking about this. Probably something actually cool/interesting I’m forgetting.
  15. Think that’s basically illegal everywhere.
  16. Everything in that picture was out of our price range. I used my dad’s Stetson on nice occasions. But by junior or senior year, I upgraded to Acqua di Gio. Treated that stuff like gold. Bottle probably lasted 5-6 years
  17. I’m thinking somewhere between 4 & 8 depending on how tall she is.

  19. It always fun when an autocorrect still works
  20. I’d noticed this off and on over the last few weeks, but now it seems to be happening almost every time I open a thread. They’re all opening at the top of the page following my last read. I have to go back one page, then scroll up/down to find the page break from where I left off. My settings are β€œTake me to content I haven’t read” but I thought that used to read as β€œtake me to the first unread post” or something of that nature. Anybody having the same problem? Chrome on iPhone btw

  22. Literally nobody worth listening to is saying that. You’re on an abnormally weird crusade right now
  23. KD got us to a Final 4?
  24. The last few systems have completely missed me, and I’m not even that far from PhD and Bee Cave. This is bullshit, and I demand satisfaction!
