  4. I’m not saying he offered me a cut of the profits, but I’m not saying he didn’t either
  5. The patent/trademark office existed prior to 1846. I think this is legit, and $400 is a steal. Unfortunately, I don’t have room for it and neither does anybody I know.
  6. I thought it was a comment on his morning wood. The real meaning is far less entertaining.
  7. Yeah, that still doesn't help. Somebody photoshopped his face to give him feminine features and gave him long hair so that he looks entirely different? And that's supposed to make a point that he's not actually ugly?
  8. Wat? No. We don't. The article itself doesn't even make that claim. First, it's reported to be from anonymous sources in the US intelligence community. That's a pretty substantial pool of potential sources whose credibility cannot be ascertained by the reader. Second, it says the evidence only "suggests" it was a Pro-Ukrainian group. Based solely on this limited report, we absolutely do NOT know that this excludes Russia. Lastly, it also states that officials who have been briefed on the findings are divided on how much weight to put on the info, which naturally means some of them don't believe it to be credible. I would also question the writer as they claim 1) Ukraine had a lot of incentive to see the pipeline destroyed, and 2) Russia had no motive to do so. You can quibble about the first point, but there's no debate the second is untrue.
  9. I have a nearly overwhelming urge to put a zero under that every time I'm out that way.
  10. Well, when you put it that way, maybe I would vote for that. Then promptly move.

  13. I’d be equally concerned about the welding job. It might just vibrate itself off. I’m calling it Radical Larry henceforth.
  14. I think they said the strike mark from the firing pin matched, but there were ejection marks on most/all of the old casings they found but none on the new casings (or the other way around). It was pointed out by the defense that you can’t show a perfect match without having the actual gun to conduct testing.

  18. Highly doubt that. If anything, Ukrainians probably just said β€œwe don’t give a fuck, please stop calling us.” Well, their flag is a lesser known Nazi symbol, sooo….
  19. Two thoughts on this. First, several of those dudes already appeared to be dead. Just laying in a trench or whatever. Wonder how many there are like that all over the place? Second, are a lot of these homemade grenades or something? I always assumed grenades were far deadlier, but there are so many videos were people are still moving around even after two have exploded within a few feet of them.

  22. Nah, not really. Before all that shit (and before the CSI effect), nobody had expectations to have that kind of info. People still got convicted all the time. We just all think differently now. In the before-times, you’d still have the addiction, the theft, the boat incident, the shaky alibi (they would’ve come to the conclusion that he wasn’t at his moms for an hour and a half), the use of his own guns and ammo, etc. In the terms of the prosecution, you still have means, motive, opportunity. Plus, the β€œit’s always the husband” line of thinking. As I’ve said before, I haven’t followed this case, and I only started watching when he took the stand. I’m completely unbiased by all the background unlike some of y’all so I figured I’d share my thoughts from that perspective. Admittedly, maybe my opinion would be different if I were on the jury and heard every bit of testimony, but having watched most everything from the time he took the stand through the prosecutions close, I’m probably not able to say guilty. Do I think he did it? Yes, I do. Pretty darn confident in that. But do I have ANY doubts? Unfortunately, for those of y’all that really want to see him put away for life, I do. There is little to no direct evidence. The prosecution has not put on a strong case, and the investigation, autopsy, etc appear to have been subpar. Defense council has been far more compelling and effective. There is, in my opinion, a fair amount of room for doubt.
