  1. That's badass. Might not want ATF to find out about it though.

  4. Nah, not really. Before all that shit (and before the CSI effect), nobody had expectations to have that kind of info. People still got convicted all the time. We just all think differently now. In the before-times, you’d still have the addiction, the theft, the boat incident, the shaky alibi (they would’ve come to the conclusion that he wasn’t at his moms for an hour and a half), the use of his own guns and ammo, etc. In the terms of the prosecution, you still have means, motive, opportunity. Plus, the β€œit’s always the husband” line of thinking. As I’ve said before, I haven’t followed this case, and I only started watching when he took the stand. I’m completely unbiased by all the background unlike some of y’all so I figured I’d share my thoughts from that perspective. Admittedly, maybe my opinion would be different if I were on the jury and heard every bit of testimony, but having watched most everything from the time he took the stand through the prosecutions close, I’m probably not able to say guilty. Do I think he did it? Yes, I do. Pretty darn confident in that. But do I have ANY doubts? Unfortunately, for those of y’all that really want to see him put away for life, I do. There is little to no direct evidence. The prosecution has not put on a strong case, and the investigation, autopsy, etc appear to have been subpar. Defense council has been far more compelling and effective. There is, in my opinion, a fair amount of room for doubt.

  10. For the record, I have not watched any of the documentaries or podcasts or anything. I don’t like the true-crime genre simply because it’s always biased one way or the other, and I don’t want to join Nicole in the loony bin if he’s found not guilty. Apologies if I’m asking questions to things that are old news to some/most of yall.
  11. I understand the two-shooter theory, and it makes a fair amount of sense to me, but I’m not sure they did all that great of job explaining it. And is it really true that they never did anything with the bloody shoe prints or check for fingerprints? That seems pretty damn negligent.

  14. Not totally disagreeing with you, but this is the same argument that was made about Europe’s reliance on Russian oil. Admittedly, it’s easier to build pipelines than a tire manufacturing centers, but it’s doable given time and initiative.

  17. Seems that part of the prosecution’s story is going to be that Paul found some pills, went down to the kennels with them, Alex came down and shot them, then took the pills out of Paul’s pocket (which would explain why Alex felt the need to try rolling him over and why he had to keep mentioning that the phone fell out of Paul’s pocket). Those two things have been bugging me this whole time, and that would explain both of them.
