  1. If I remember correctly there was no conflict to overcome. It followed basically a 24 hour period just like Dazed, right. Still I really enjoyed it. The Pink Floyd 'Fearless'/Shark's Tail" was pretty great. One of my all-time favorite songs. Super identified with with ending an epic night with the idea to go creeking/tubing. Liked it a lot.
  2. You pretty much just saw the movie, but still would highly recommend for something fresh and outside the box. Also for the theaters, but I still love going to the movies. Young kids might find it a little stressful as they don’t won’t any harm to come to the animal characters. Will go see ‘No Dirction Home’ again soon, very few faults in this movie.
  3. Yosemite for this year's September trip. My first time to California.
  4. I would have gone with Cast.NOTsurlyhorns.com and pled the fif.
  5. Potato, potata counter point misinterpretation: I'm grateful for when I have a rock to push up hill. I'm good at it, focuses my energy, and gives me something worthwhile to do. It's when I have too much free time that I tend to say, "fuck it."
  6. Still 2024 sliding under the closing wall grabs hat… Not the best of pics, more lazy access. We ended up bailing on the loop plans after ascending Pallisade Peak. Made the classic mistake of ditching the winding summit trail versus “it really doesn’t look that far if we just go straight up". Handy friend was puking, macho friend turned around, most durable friend ended the night with debilitating leg cramps. I didn’t die, so…I was right. Spent two more wonderful days at Upper Pallisades Lake around a campsite campfire. Caught an awesome waterfall on the drive out, then Civil Defense Cave near Idaho Falls, and visited Craters Of The Moon National Park on the way back to Boise. That park was a dud except for one lava tube cave that made it completely worth it.
  7. Boise State Go America Flag Carrier?
  8. Was there a fracture in BBG?
  9. 'Infuriates' is a bit strong, but it drives me nuts that the line that he shouts back to the band after being called 'Judas' is "Play it Fucking Loud'. The moment in the movie called for it, and if you are going to directly lift from an actually event in London from his world tour, it's literally on tape. Monica Barbaro is hell of fine but psycho killer eyes. But this is not the movie thread, but go see the movie. It's badass.
  10. Yes-ish. Supposedly packages from California destined for parts of Texas. Don't see any obvious in the derailed cars picture though.
  11. Fuck'em
  12. The 1 P.M. start is fucking my shit up.
  13. That's a 1 hour walk.
  14. How about calling those last two defensive time outs to extend the first half, but is bad at math and the half just runs out.
  15. Cool, I candy passed out before the fight, and I had to go back to the replay because I didn't know Rountree waited around for a post-fight interview. I don't know about this being some kind of noble performance. I was honestly hoping the ref would step in to alleviate some of the punishment. But alas, it was a couple of body shots that made him finally bend the knee. He looked competent for about 3 rounds, but insert Joe Rogan calf kicks meme here.
  16. UFC 308 looks fun. https://www.espn.com/mma/fightcenter/_/id/600044733/league/ufc
  17. I brought it that up when it happened it, he had been timing that knee for a while. I didn't like it, but the guy had plenty of time to adjust to the attack, and bottom line it's just a kick.
  18. Probably pop-up heavy without an ad blocker, but my go to site these days. https://tvsportslive.fr/36425-13/
  19. Good fight between Thompson v. Buckley with Wonderboy probably winning it going into the 3rd. But Buckley's corner put a fire into him and he came out swinging.
  20. Kicked the football after the penultimate kneel down.
  21. I've been opening empty Soda Stream bottles and manually pounding out dry ice to refill them for years. Just spit ballin' proper air pressures, and having halloweenish dance parties with the extra. What could go wrong? @InkaUtexas sucks when people assume you're not the fun guy anymore. Sucks even more when you know deep down that you are not the fun guy anymore without the social-crutch. I wish the invites were a little more frequent, but that's also on me. I've got to figure out how to be the joyful version of living. Many people with true sobriety have that shit so far in the past that they could help will an imbibing party to fun town just through inner triumph. (not saying this is your story, just sharing what was stirred up)
