Do European countries have a form of federalism, or is it mostly central powers with city governments?
Switzerland is a confederacy.

It's probably a little more outside the norm to not invite a sitting POTUS to the funeral of a former POTUS.
True, but DOTUS is so far out of the norm that I think we can make an exception here.

Please tell me Cheeto In Chief revisited this and that this is not just a rehash of previous comments. And right before his CA trip. Brilliant.

On fire today.
Who would have guessed that threatening to abandon an ally to fend for itself would cause said ally to contemplate handling all defense measures on its own and without any US influence? Who?

A "dirty trick" and a "political stunt" are two different things. Is your contention there is not a caravan of Central Americans attempting to enter the U.S. illegally? I can see where there would be value in have a military presence there to retain order given how these guys treated their entry into Mexico. Nuance is important - sending troops before the election absolutely was political but not without merit or value IMHO - unless you think the caravan was just a fabrication.
Any use of the US military for a "political stunt" I think immediately qualifies it for a "dirty trick". The military should never be used for political purposes and particularly on US soil.

Once people are paying taxes, they should have a say on how they're spent.
All current foreign residents, including my college buddy from England, live under this same deal. How is this different?

Wait, I’m not a super genius but they say they don’t have evidence of foul play but their hands and waists were bound with duct tape???
Those statements seem fairly contradictory to me.
Someone needs to DO SOMETHING, like add a safety warning to duct tape about the accidental wrapping of oneself and a relative when near bodies of water.

Why did you read that as "putting gimpy kids in front of firing squads"? You didn't like his framing because of something you imagined in your head. It's not his fault you thought that, it's yours.
"eradicate disabled population" is provocative language, at best. Marginalize? Abandon? The point may have more merit. The wording as tweeted is Trumpesque, in reverse.

The GOP is smart ot focus on trying to stack the courts with conservative judicial activists to move forward a conservative agenda. Simply because it's pretty clear that the agenda the GOP wants to push legislatively is not one that is going to be embraced by the majority of Americans. So legislating from the bench is really the best option.
Does this fall under the "every accusation is a confession" theme?

I dunno; I think I'd like to let Warren Buffet take a shot at it. He might be a shitty politician, but at least he wouldn't be a total fucking slapdick.
Unlike Trump, Buffet is far too intelligent to even consider such a move. From what I've read, I suspect Warren is far more introspective of his own strengths and weaknesses to know what seems feasible or achievable and what would not. In this respect he's practically the anti-Trump. So, sign me up.

Pick some mundane item that people 30 rungs down the org chart are handling as ordinary business and let him think he’s “managing” it and that he can take credit for it as some kind of great example of leadership.
Great idea!

He's going to lie on the record. Doesn't matter if it's written or verbally.
My fear is that by allowing for written responses his lawyers (yes, even Rudi) will doctor the text up beyond all recognition. Complete sentences might actually appear, as if by magic. The DOTUS' tendency to lie unabated will be scrubbed from the document. Mueller knows FAR more than me of course, but at this point I'm not sure what good those written responses will be.
