fair has nothing to do with it. the expectation is that the Stars will go further than we went last year with better players than the year before (Nill is working on that part). we actually went backwards this season. we only won our division (instead of conference, and almost President's), we had fewer regular season points (106 vs 113) and won one fewer playoff game. so I'd say at least 2023-2024 results or better is the expectation.
good, they needed to fix that. I actually don't have an issue with any of the rule changes coming out of the CBA:
the second to last is aimed at Lou Lamoriello
This is where I sit until proven otherwise. Nill is a fucking wizard and he has earned our trust. Guessing they wanted Gulutzan to cook a bit before bringing him back. I don't hate the pick, but he's not gonna get a ton of grace from me or the media. he has to bring the team forward, not backwards one step.
it's gonna be like all the fucking Moody venues. "I'm going to a show at the Moody!" Which fucking one??? Everything will be Trump branded and people will have no idea where to go. I'm embracing Idiocracy as a prophecy at this point
maybe, but it feels different somehow. like it's one thing if the gov't lies to us and says there's no aliens or some shit, but when they start telling us what we're seeing with our own eyes isn't happening, it's too Orwellian to ignore
yeah, the oversaturation of thc-a in texas gives a false impression of the availability of actual thc products. I still believe regulation (correct, actual regulation, which we know we won't get, but still) is better than unfettered market - at least when we're discussing mind-bending substances. consistency and expected dosage are big things and should be taken seriously. I think flower should be generally be unregulated and anything that is concentrated should be regulated.
pretty sure I've heard him referred to by other players as Ritzy or Rizzy, but however he's called I'm betting he gets a solid look for the D Stars next season, or the next couple at worst.
show me a good problem to have. anytime you can cut out the black market is a good step in the right direction, imho. it will undoubtedly be messy to start and possibly for a while, but decriminalization is the necessary step here. I would trade legality for red tape any day
