  1. I think Michelle made an honest mistake. She said TX, not Texas. TX is a damn good bourbon and I'm sure Tom / Kendra have been putting some away recently. TX has been front and center on Michelle's mind. It's ruined her life, TX has. Damn the bourbon and bourbon drinkers!
  2. I want to go so damn bad! Any Surly's headed to DKR tomorrow? Weather looking prime!
  3. New to the NFT talk. A fee questions that came up for me while reading this thread: 1. Where does the porn industry sit on NFTs? 2. Apparently unique art can be packaged as an NFT, but can the owner then license it broadly for viewing / use? (I am imagining a rolling art catalogue on my flat screen, which I pay subscriptions to view - in lieu of a large one time fee). Or, are they limited to a one time sale? I would be much more interested in NFTs if I can extract long term value from them. 3. What resources are recommended to get an old guy up to speed on this shit? Thx Surly.
  4. Saw several folks going in them with no masks, while waiting to get vaxxed. Found that a little perplexing...
  5. Nearly broke my neck looking for V1, lol. Line 1 closest to the stadium just started moving!!!
  6. @Armybrat Stand up and wave! I am about 6 lanes from the stadium...waiting patiently. Much more of a cluster than my first shot.
  7. Sark going in on OU 2021. All Gas, No Brakes (No Lube)!
  8. 78727 checking in for the Teximo Army. Hit me up if you (or loved ones) are in need of supplies. Will assemble.
  9. Told my son we're gonna go outside with the dogs. He laughed and said "Mom's gonna hate picking up poop next week".
  10. Did anyone else just turn off their water entirely? I purged all of our lines, but now I'm not sure where the family is gonna take a shit. LOL.
  11. Apologies if this is duplicate...but felt the need to share. This is a great opportunity to volunteer, and get a vaccine. My wife and I both did this last week and they work you pretty hard. It's clear to me that they could not distribute the 3k vaccines daily without the ~100 volunteers...and as an added gesture, they give the volunteers a shot to reward the hard work and to keep the machine going. If you can make the time, I highly recommend it. They release each week's available signup on Saturdays at 5pm. If interested, you need to be online at 4:55 and refreshing at a rapid pace. I think we saw the week's slots go in about 4-5 minutes last week. Good luck, Surly. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0f4fa5a723a0f49-volunteer
  12. Roger. My Form 1 (sbir) was roughly the same as my Form 4s...no discernible difference. Not certain if that is true for all or if the processes have changed since I got mine. No experience with a home built, but I wouldn’t mess with it. The designs are getting pretty sophisticated now...curious how you could even get close to the precision of the build dimensions at home without some serious cnc machinery and TIG with jigs. YMMV.
  13. Forgive me for appearing obtuse...but what is the question? Are you trying to get confirmation of timing for a Form 1 vs Form 4?
  14. What's your question? (edit: what is that you trying to figure out / learn about the process?)
  15. No love for the Black Pumas at ACL? Fucking rocked it! I enjoyed all of the performances yesterday...lots of passion from the artists. I'm a big fan of Yo Yo Ma and that guy slayed the Cello last night. Fun to watch!
  16. Does anyone remember Midnight Tacos in Austin, circa 96? We used to have them come to our apartment on West Campus and it was amazing after a night of debauchery. That company was ahead of their fucking time!
  17. Is this being recorded? I need a link for later.... as my priorities are clearly not in place as I'm on a fucking zoom call for work.
  18. I officially sacrifice my liver to keep Sark's demons at bay; keep him clean and kicking OU's ass. Let's Go Horns!
  19. I'm in for "Sharks eat Turtles"
  20. Thanks for that insight. I hadn't realize this was the current interpretation of the rules. Sure seems to me that the defense is "moving towards the ball" at the snap. Wouldn't that construe that they are under pressure, technically speaking? Regardless, appreciate the knowledge on how it is being interpreted and implemented from a rules perspective.
  21. Potentially off topic, but rules / officiating related -- Why is "spiking the ball to kill the clock", not considered intentional grounding and flagged / penalized accordingly? Seems it fits all the rules for intentional grounding, yet doesn't ever suffer the consequences. Is there a specific carveout that covers this in the rulebook?
  22. @956 Worldwide you ok if we add in other random questions?
