  1. Everyone knows aggy was defending our freedom in 2002, this doesn’t count.
  2. “Enjoy Galveston” is a little bit of a loaded statement, don’t you think?
  3. Is there a fix on the horizon for the 100% width link to the last page of each thread?
  4. Fox needs to chill the fuck out with all the interviews and human interest stories.
  5. It's not the best look for him but I'm sure there are comments like that between lots of players and caddies that just don't get captured by the mic. If he and Greller have a system that works for them then it really doesn't make a difference whether Jordan looks bad. I think he let the slump get to his head and is over-critical of every mistake he makes on the course right now. He actually has three consecutive top-10's -- so arguably he's not in a slump at this exact moment -- but with his last win coming in 2017 it's easy to see why he's frustrated.
  6. Jordan pissed at Greller. Said that he made two perfect shots with the wrong club.
  7. I lived in an apartment off South Lamar near Treadwell for a year and there is a thriving homeless population in the greenbelt surrounding the railroad tracks east of the Lamar (the one that eventually runs through downtown). One thing I learned is that they love screaming at one another at all hours of the day and night. Of course, this is in addition to drinking and vandalizing property throughout the area. Not sure what the solution is but I don’t think it involves legalizing / encouraging their behavior.
  8. Respect to KD for going out there to try to help his team. But the medical staff can’t let something like that happen. If it’s an Achilles that is a career-changer.
  9. Google probably should be broken up. Same with Facebook. The problem is that our government has no idea how these tech companies work, let alone how they could be regulated in order to limit their power.
  10. Good luck, Bru. We’ll be fine.
  11. Would a normal (non-athlete) student be allowed to transfer in and out of the same school in less than a semester? Aren’t there rules about admission and application periods? I get that USC is private so can probably do whatever they want. But this seems pretty unusual.
  12. So...do we start recruiting him again once he transfers back?
  13. They actually enjoy being lied to. It makes it easier to maintain the fantasy.
  14. He sank some 25+ ft putts yesterday like he used to do during his incredible run. If he can maintain consistency on the greens it will just come down to staying out of trouble with the driver. His iron/wedge game has never faltered.
  15. Lol at him using the Buckeyes hashtag. They fired you, bro.
  16. Announcers said that the weather is supposed to be nice in the morning but winds up to 25 MPH by afternoon. The late tee times might struggle to score well.
  17. You’re assuming that the people involved were thinking, which is a mistake.
  18. Some people just don’t understand... LSU has ATHLETES. With SPEED.
  19. Any notion that scooters replace driving is dead wrong. City of Austin data showed that the average trip length was 0.7 miles. They replace walking. If what we need as a society is a Silicon Valley solution to the “problem” of walking, then we are truly fucked. They look like shit all over the sidewalks, roads, parks, etc. They are dangerous. They provide little to no contribution to the local economy. Ban them.
  20. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1005286 Man facing murder charge after California woman beaten with motorized scooter May 14, 2019, 4:51 AM ET By Phil Helsel A man accused of beating a woman with a motorized scooter is facing a murder charge in her death. Officers were called to the site of the attack, on a street in Long Beach, California, Monday afternoon, police said in a statement. Rosa Elena Hernandez, 63, was killed in the attack. "Detectives believe the suspect physically assaulted the victim and then proceeded to utilize a motorized scooter as a weapon during the assault," police said. A little more than four hours later, police said they arrested a person of interest, who was booked on a murder charger and is being held in lieu of $2 million bail. The suspect was not identified by police. View this graphic on nbcnews.com The attack appeared to have been random, NBC Los Angeles reported, citing police. Hernandez was walking down the street when a man began attacking her, police told the station. NBC Los Angeles reported that the man used an electric scooter in the attack. The Los Angeles Times reported that was a Bird scooter, and that authorities don't believe the attacker and victim knew each other.Bird scooters are dockless e-scooters available to rent. Police said that the suspect fled on foot after the assault, and the person who was arrested was found at a local business. Friends and family of Hernandez laid candles Monday night at the spot where she was killed. "She was a nice lady, always said hi to everybody," neighbor Veronica Morales told NBC Los Angeles, adding that she was well known on the street. "Nobody deserves what that person did," Morales said. Long Beach is a city on the coast south of Los Angeles. Phil Helsel is a reporter for NBC News.
  21. His downward spiral has been quite entertaining so far. But maybe this is normal and we are just getting a better view of the action.
  22. Returning production is one of the most useless stats ever.
  23. Rockets decided to get lazy because of the KD injury.
  24. Does this mean that the podcast isn’t going to be released on schedule?
