  1. Worst super bowl ever
  2. Going in the water may have been better than where he ended up.
  3. So is stopping at McDonald’s to get the prisoners a Happy Meal standard procedure?
  4. Losing a 5 stroke lead on one hole. Brutal. edit: only lost 4 strokes!
  5. That’s a stupid rule. If you replace a ball it shouldn’t be “in play” until you take your next stroke.
  6. Enemy of the state spreading misinformation and rumors. Off to the gulag with you.
  7. So you’re telling me...I’ve been living a lie this whole time?
  8. What are the chances of us actually landing Lakia Henry? 10%? Seems like he’s favoring the SEC schools. Last visit and all that though...
  9. The only thing I know for sure is that the Kroger on Studemont is fucked.
  10. Terrible news for Derrian and the Brown family. Wishing him a complete recovery. Football might not part of his future anymore but he’ll get a medical scholarship to one of the best universities in the world and still has his whole life in front of him. Back to football... My guess at the RB depth chart is 1. Ingram 2. Young 3. Whittington 4. K. Johnson 5+. Walk-ons Clearly not an ideal situation so a grad transfer would really help. It’s highly unlikely we can flip a top-tier HS RB this close to signing day. The most important thing at this point is for all these guys to put in the work during the off-season to get stronger and maintain their health during the season.
  11. Imagine getting ready in the morning, taking one last look at this in the mirror, and saying to yourself “Yeah, I’m ready for my professional headshot”.
  12. Cosmi may be a 3 star but he played at All Big 12 level for a lot of the year. Shack really developed under Hand as well. I like our chances.
  13. Vahe served the program well but I will never forget watching him try to pass block the Notre Dame DL as a true freshman starting in his first game. It was...not pretty.
  14. 5 officers in the hospital 3 in stable condition 2 critical
  15. Sooo many offensive rebounds by the Magic last night.
  16. I never really appreciated how good Omenihu was until the last few games of his senior year. We're gonna miss him on the DL next year.
  17. I think our linebacker group will be fine with or without Henry. I’d like to see us hold onto Shepherd as a long term development project and sign Proctor to take over one of the open OG positions. Realistically both are 50/50 propositions. Even if we don’t sign another player at all I like how our roster looks. Clearly 2 OL in a class would not be ideal but having redshirted all the OL from last year really helps.
  18. Usually investors putting > $1M into a startup do very thorough diligence. Verifying revenue numbers, reviewing employment agreements, interviewing clients about the quality of your product, etc. Holmes basically said “we’re not willing to do any of that and have plenty of interest from other investors if you insist”. Amazingly this strategy worked to to the tume of $750M.
  19. Excuse me sir, I will not stand idly by while you besmirch the name of Paul Batrice, Esq.
  20. Before worrying about developing the app or patenting anything, tell him to do thorough market research. How many customers are out there? How much would they be willing to pay for this product? What is different about this product (i.e. what product does it solve that isn’t currently being solved by existing products)? How is he going to reach these customers and what will be the cost of acquiring new ones? A little diligence up front is well worth the time. Assuming he gets satisfactory answers to all of the above questions, he needs to think about how to build out a software organization. Freelancers on Upwork may be good enough to get you through the wireframe phase but it’s highly unlikely that you’ll get anything robust enough that you can charge for it. Even simple apps require a ton of development resources so he either needs to learn to code it himself (which is a full time job) and/or find developers willing to dedicate significant time to it. This likely involves giving them salary and equity. TLDR: it’s a lot harder than you think.
  21. Drew Lock sucks. But some NFL GM will draft him in the top 15, ensuring his eventual firing in 2021.
