  1. I read that as he wasn't signing with OU, Texas or Aggy. Spacing, man.
  2. I think to entice players and keep them, aggy lets the top players go rogue somewhat, which results in lack of discipline, and has cost them coaches. Juggling talent is a tightrope. Talent often assumes it can overcome obstacles because they're good, but at each level, the talent gap narrows. Then what? You can't get guys that want to do their own thing and only play to their strengths. Gotta work and do the shit jobs that earn the big play. That pressure Broughton and Collins apply isn't given. Fundamental football isn't fun, sexy or glamorous, especially to those that overvalue their skillset. They've graduated grinding, and think that after they get beat, they can just turn on that extra gear the next play--doesn't happen. People aren't light switches that turn off and on, if you're undisciplined, when it counts you jump offsides, lose your man, fall for misdirection, etc. But gotta grind every play because not only do you not know when the flash of opportunity presents, but you help make that opportunity for yourself or another. It's a mentality that requires work and repetition until it becomes intuitive and muscle memory--that's the discipline/work, but also acknowledgement (maturity and buy in). Being undisciplined results in other players doing the same trying to cya and over extending because of trust issues, which builds into a bad unit. Overall, I'd venture that this is culture, along with being at practice on time, working on the little things repeatedly, every drill, every rep, and watching film. My mantra in life is the energy coming out is the energy going in. Works at taco stands too.
  3. Do y'all realize that aggies best wins are transitive wins by other SEC teams against opponents? This weekend, they could've beaten both tOSU and Georgia. They won all the games they didn't play, and the one's they did they stunk. That's their culture. Think about it, you'll have to since that's where they win. All they got is Looch shoveling coal into the eternal hope flame year after year, selling subs with how close they were yet again.
  4. love the Trainspotting reference.
  5. We got Georgia next, and we've already seen how the slow start works against them. Let's not try to keep jamming a square peg into a triangular hole. Ride the hot hand. If it's Ewers, then roll. If it's Wisner, by god, don't abandon him in our time of need.
  6. it don't make a shit--same results. They can point to a little or a lot, but they're all losses.
  7. Won't be fine against Georgia, but Texas whooping up on the little sisters of the poor by any margin is fine. I don't care. They can say whatever, and we can point out Texas won with a bad Ewers. They can't say nothing--they lost to Case. They're wannabe's. They got nothing to show otherwise. Next year, clicking clack. Where has this played in succession? Yeah, for decades. They don't have a living relative that's seen a championship. Their culture is losing, their trophy room is full of echos and they haven't sniffed an SEC championship, and in a 12 man championship field, won't sniff that either with a shit schedule. Their culture is gnashing teeth and crying about about refs. I hope they paid Owens well, because he's going to leave their program now or in 3 years with whatever they gave him. But count that money and pray you don't sustain another injury along the way, while watching Wisner take all the accolades and beat your shit in.
  8. They should've beaten Case too but they didn't, and there's nothing that shows they'd win in a rematch either. That's twice now Texas has won with little offense. Just imagine what it's going to be like when the Longhorn offense actually shows up.
  9. Both wins--at aggy. Perfect book ends. Cowards thought that by scheduling at home they'd somehow have a better shot than where the series ended last time. Wrong!
  10. Score looks closer than it ever was. It wasn't that close. Their best offense was their defense. In fact, it was their only offense.
  11. fuck, after watching that, think how Conner Weigman must feel. Dude has to portal out and leave that pile of toxic garbage behind him.
  12. Writes itself--sell it Looch. The hard work has been done for you above. You have my permission to use on a weekly basis--feel free to rewrite it multiple ways if it helps.
  13. Like it's worth something. They'd be so lucky if someone was able to peal the stench off their field, but nope, they want to keep it. Congrats I guess.
