  1. With nobody in front of him, this was supposed to be his stepping out year, and he just didn't play like a primary receiver. He's a big bodied, fast receiver that at times, shows an absurd catch radius and should be setting the tone for that group of players. Maybe next year, but he's not that dude yet, and really shouldn't be until he outright seizes it.
  2. I'm not a big believer of silos. I think a good game outside of the division is necessary, for a temperature of the program. However, if it's not going to be rewarded, then I understand the why risk it belief. While it's a benefit to both teams, Sark was stubborn, and didn't learn the necessary lessons from the tOSU loss--which is what really set the program back. The problems persisted until Florida cast a strobe light onto them. Both of those games were winnable, and with the right preparation, could've resulted in a better season. Sark can be his own worst enemy.
  3. He's destroying America in so many ways, the future looks awful. Case in point--not recognizing degrees to prohibit government loans. That's also going to shrink an educated work force, universities and everybody they employ, combined with limiting research funding, student visas and vaccine denial, privatizing education, as well as everything that's currently government subsidized, trying to destroy green energy (also limiting research and degrees), measles and mump cases on the rise which is the absolute tip of the iceberg, increasing plastics/pesticide pollution in water, air, food through lessening environmental restrictions and most likely soon saying fuck it to food labeling, buying up housing and real estate reducing availability except to renters, voter repression and furk, that's just a few off of the top of my head. I don't know who's going to buy their shit but they don't care, because they'll have their tentacles well into tax dollars, while the American public is being treated like livestock. It's fucking bleak--the economy doesn't stand a chance, but doesn't matter, as his take down of job and economic data suggests.
  4. He’s also ok'ing russian aggression with American aggression. Can’t say no to one while conducting another. It’s a race to the worst. China is on the clock as to what country they’d like to acquire.
  5. I was thinking Lockett could displace Wingo. I'm crazy, but Lockett has size, isn't slow and if he can catch consistently, then he's a pretty good replacement. I sometimes wonder if Wingo can catch a normal pass with time. McCutcheon is going to be a baller, and Michael Terry could be another playmaker. If it's learning the playbook, then that's a problem. But Texas should be loaded at WR. I'm getting tired of not developing clutch receivers or offensive linemen--that's a bigger problem.
  6. Good to see a targeting wasn't called during that run when the OU rb lowered his head and the defender both went head to head. Only Texas gets called for targeting.
  7. Yep, lose your 3rd straight against Texas so you can brag about the playoffs. That would be absolutely awesome, and then when you lose your playoff game, you've lost back to back games, with absolutely no upside. Fucking idiots, all.
  8. Great birding movie:
  9. Going to cross post for the bird nerds like myself, but funny movie on YouTube:
  10. My thoughts about arkie last night after the commentators were gushing over their size— great, a bunch of stiffs with very little bend or lateral quickness. Flood’s wet dream.
  11. That hit he took when he got trucked by Washington rattled his marbles.
  12. Who had murdering piggy on their bingo card?
  13. Did he leave his feet? Yep, did he lead with the crown? Questionable. But he'll get tossed as a sacrifice. Edit: Didn't leave his feet.
  14. Feels like Texas is the only team that gets called for targeting.
  15. Good to see Manning having fun. Finally.
  16. Arkie defense wearing out.
  17. Green was hobbled before that shot put.
  18. Manning is player of the game by far.
  19. They've kept a linebacker back near the line to spy him. I haven't seen if they keep one there for every play or just passing downs.
  20. So Charlotte held Georgia to the same point total as Texas, and only scored 7 less points. That's pretty condemning for the Horns.
  21. I worked at Jason's some 25 years ago as a teen, and I specifically remember making something like mini muffuletta's for catering, or a 6 foot long hoagie like thing that had the same relish on it, along with the meats. They may have gone down hill when they began franchising. I really loved working there and loved their food, for the most part. But it just got old, and management was always fucking with what they served and looking to cut costs. I was so glad to get one in College Park Maryland but it served like a quarter of the regular menu and sucked. It went under--oh well. Same with Corner Bakery and Panera. Some are decent, others seem like retirement centers. I really like Habit Burger and Grill--great salads, and garden burgers. Regular burgers are fine.
  22. A brewery I enjoy: served in a room temp mismatched glass on a dirty cabinet. Enjoy.
  23. On a 3rd and 3. Quick slant nets the three plus found yards after catch. Can’t believe how easily Florida and Georgia found receivers.
  24. And again, how do the evangelicals support this? Oh, they’re doing it too.
