  1. Sam, I’m pretty sure Texas would say the same thing—they’re better than they’ve been playing today.
  2. When was the last time you saw a 4th and 32 that wasn’t penalty related? Damn, defense is humming.
  3. I can't imagine fighting traffic out of there for that.
  4. They honest to god trained for this. Really, trained. Tyson just needed to stay upright, and move his head.
  5. That was the joke--that Paul was going to dig up Ali for a fight so he could claim he beat the best ever.
  6. People actually paid to watch this in person...and some from the top. WTF, why?
  7. The heavyweights were long done before UFC. It was so bad Foreman came back and did damage. What I don't like about UFC is that you'll never have the longevity of a fighter like we did in boxing. Edit: Actually, the quality of fights in boxing weren't always that good.
  8. it's hard to even say that straight faced. Somewhere another Jake, Jake LaMotta, is trembling underground. Who am I kidding, I'd probably waste time watching that too, just see if Paul cuts himself with one of his rib bones.
  9. Really, Jake is taunting a retiree?
  10. It was always going to be an exhibition fight at best.
  11. Why does Tyson keep teething on his glove? Does he have a razor in it that he's trying to get to?
  12. it's almost like he's really old. He was never the bounciest of guys when he was younger because he almost had to launch into his much taller opponents.
  13. Jake almost has to tko a guy past retirement that hasn't fought in two decades. What's in it for him to go to the distance with a retired boxer?
  14. 31 years older, and Jake still refuses to let his hands fly out of fear.
  15. Has he already asked for the codes? I wouldn't be surprised if day one he comes back and says something like, the codes don't work. How do you know? I was told they don't work, give me the real codes. Who told you they don't work. Nevermind, give me the right codes or you're fired.... The one thing Trump is absolutely historic in, like Babe Ruth historic, is losing money. The man can bankrupt a casino. He's the Bambino of Bankruptcy. He's gonna score so many bankruptcies in his term, they're gonna erect a Trump statue in Moscow.
  16. What are they gonna do when they get to the love thy neighbor verses and supporting the poors? I mean, let's not go hog wild on learning the teachings of the gospel, unless we're subbing Christ with Oligarchs.
  17. Survival in less civilized times required the help of neighbors and townspeople alike. You thrived together or you died together. The dumbed down of society should provide the military with lots of bodies, since there'll be less options with the rising costs of education. And before the tradesmen peeps talk about the rise of a blue-collar workforce, that's a shit load of work. True there's money to be had, but if there was learning and effort going on, they wouldn't have voted against their chances of overtime and for rising costs of living and declining benefits.
  18. I don't care who wins. I'm not a pro football fan. I'm not a pro anything fan. It's all weighted to me.
  19. The call on the field marked the ball a whole yard short.
  20. Huge hold in front of Wilson to give him time to throw, or that's a sack. Didn't show a highlight of the throw, only the catch.
  21. There was some early cracks that Texas didn’t take advantage of. And when miscues happen, sometimes players overcompensate and tighten up. Texas also started off with some early penalties that set them back. I thought the defense really kept Texas in that game, just needed help. Shit happens but it’s hard to beat the same team twice. All things are correctible vs not having the skill sets to compete.
  22. GA has been getting by turning the ball over multiple times a game, and it finally smacked them in a big way.
  23. Refs can't bail them out now.
  24. Chris Cornell? No. He’s dead Jim.
  25. Manning may almost get a whole half of play.
