  2. Thanks RDC, it's been a journey. I paint a lot of simpler stuff in between because these are a lot to do-andI get the occasional portrait commission or painting sale. But this whole thing is a story called Floodland or something I'm working on--the scale kind of emulates a modern flood path when all put together. A lot of this stuff is from river cleanups and just discarded by the side of the road--like cultural refuse or artifact discards of modern civilization. We live in a flood zone so the marks on the wall, blah, blah. I can send you the text. But these are basically all also items of a broken escape as well--as in we're stuck in our own mess. I probably could have also put this in the I'm digging a hole tab.
  3. Been working on this painting the last few nights, and for awhile now. Part of a series that I’ll pitch for a show. One of nine, each almost six feet by six feet. Some people like fancy cars, and I like painting, and a dc studio in an old factory. Not my day job, or the class I teach in the evenings, but I get to this in my time, late night, after the wife goes to sleep. I’ve done a lot of writing for the work, but want to hear comments. The floor isn’t finished. All nine paintings are almost all together 50 feet with no spacing between.
  4. This is really how you imagine anyone envisioned her appearance? Why stop with Herman? Throw in a mutated Herman, Charlie Strong and Mack Brown, flipping everybody double birds with like 6 arms. Cool, yeah. And Palestine thrown in to boot--bravo. Keep it going, because Palestine and don't appear on fox are totally similar. But sure, for the strong Sydney take--who are these Independents that watch Fox and listen to Trump spew hatred on the regular in incomplete sentences and made up words for strong, teary eyed men? You do know that there's a mountain of shitty things spewed daily by Trump himself, in front of town halls, live television, in court records, at rally's--that's the brand and they stormed the capitol on every channel. He doesn't hide his animosity and it gets played on Fox, constantly. Who are these independents that watch this insanity and then think, ok, now let's hear her views? Why would they watch Fox and nothing else? That's not an independent. They choose to listen to a man spew hatred on a channel that sells outrage. How is that meeting them halfway--they didn't go anywhere, they're built in and the regular audience goes back to its regular programming, which we all agree is brainwashing, but also a choice. And I don't expect those regular viewing numbers to change one iota post interview. She's super brave, though, but we knew that from her DEA days, and all the other millions of clips already in existence. Plus Pete and Walz already provide a constant feed of great sound bites on Fox. I've always stated I think she'll win. The popular vote has gone to Democrats for awhile now, and this will too--by millions. But this is the really important part for me-- I don't want Fox to make one dollar off her appearance--not in ad space, not in legitimacy, not in eyeballs going forward. This also brings attention to their network. Y'all claim it's all positive for her but they win from this too--they're mostly in it for the money. They win both ways. It's like a scenario from the Chocolate War. I think she speaks to the choir at this point--others are just looking for an excuse qualifying not voting for her. And I didn't want her to provide them one having a human moment on a hostile station. That was it, and it didn't involve one flipping of the "bird" or whatever fantasy you enjoyed. And if your daughter's and all our futures hinge on an interview on Fox, god help us. But she did great yet again, and it didn't hurt her. Add it to the terabytes of footage already available. I understand she may have made some converts. It's just really hard for me to grasp that those converts could stomach him regularly, but now see the light. I realize I'm out of touch with that population segment since high school. And yes, I think Independents are dumb fucks for hanging out with a bunch of fascists and not knowing it. Disclaimer for the late post, but I don't know if I got banned or if the site got banned from the university, or everywhere I was trying to access it from in DC--that's probably for IT. You can now go back to your bizarre ass dream sequences, but stop using logic in arguments about Trump. Neither he, nor his followers apply it.
  5. Actually, I wish he were saying potato instead of I’ll pick up everybody that opposes me. But maybe she sounded great.
  6. Great. Did she sound articulate, quick on her feet and thoughtful? I bet she did. All the while he’s outside screaming potato, but it’s important to reach these people and somehow get them to actually hear her, which they’ve been actively avoiding. He’ll still scream potato while the media talks about his love for the quality vegetables from labor and knowledge of cultivation—a real man of the earth and pro farmer. It’s almost like the media does his talking for him. She can interview wherever, different rules man. But maybe she can convince a few that she’s not scary or looking to destroy their teetering livelihood of bad decisions. Whatever, a simple interview on any media can give them that same insight. How many Aggie minds do you think she changed? How about west Texas types? Independents that can actually stomach Fox? Based on nothing, I’d guess that liberals watching specifically to see how she’d do is a large part of that audience. Few come away from almost voting for a cult with whew, till that Fox interview I was going to vote for potato.
  7. He's been shot at and threatened to be shot at. He's not going to be a strong gun supporter.
  8. Because she's not threatening media, opponents, Democracy? Did she not have a half hour dance off? What's the bar and why does it only apply to her?
  9. He wasn't there to hear the answer, but to make her look bad. The setup isn't for her to look presidential.
  10. After talking to him, he made me want to get on a roof and help him--but like you said, options. And air conditioning is a largely, unspoken benefit but huge.
  11. Did Trump respond thank you, Amigo? Also, he just throws out numbers pulled out his rectum--97 percent of my former administration supports me. No, they don't. They wrote tell all books detailing your lunacy and did the public talkshow circuit talking about it. You then constantly say how you didn't know them.
  12. Every accusation is a confession...60 minutes edited Kamala's interview. This is awesome. There was one comment on the X page regarding the Univision town hall, that roughly stated -- Now he's a clown in two different languages.
  13. I remember watching interviews with coal miners who were being offered paid training in another field--nope, my daddy was a coal miner and his daddy before him and so on. Some chose to be left behind, and that's fine. But don't blame the government for your poor choices. Years later but about a decade ago, I was talking to a young Salvadoran living across the street that worked installing solar panels. He was getting a paid college education by his job and was just working with Pepco on installing something underground and they offered him a job. He was playing the loyalty card and I was stating fuck that--ask them if they'll finish paying for your degree, along with paying more. I asked him where he got started installing solar panels. Las Vegas, where nobody wanted to go out in the heat on top of buildings and do a job that was pretty damn challenging. He was damn near making 6 figures at the time of our conversation, and getting a degree. Choices, but I'm sure some would say an immigrant was stealing American jobs.
  14. They're still cooking in the narrative...so turnip can say look at the polls, they had me up, this is proof of Democrat fuckery.
  15. Trump’s answer “So, you know, it’s such a great question in the sense that people don’t think of grocery. You know, it sounds like not such an important word when you talk about homes and everything else, right? But more people tell me about grocery bills, where the price of bacon, the price of lettuce, the price of tomatoes, they tell me. [1] And we’re going to do a lot of things." Am I the only one that noticed his reply to groceries begins with describing the ingredients of a BLT? Christ almighty, why didn't anybody ask him a question about what kind of bread does he like on his bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwiches because he didn't mention that in his response-- just to watch his thought train derail.
  16. McMaster said the same stuff--which means they think they can control his brand of evil, which is a god awful reckoning as well. Part of being a Trump supporter is being a troll, unfortunately. They don't recognize boundaries, which is made all the more difficult when their leader talks about locking up opponents. That's not just media, illegals, brown people (yeah, he's disparaged legal minorities), and political opponents--that's anybody that doesn't support their views about suspending Democracy. That leads to some Anne Frank level shit that's really going to tax the friendship if this ass clown gets elected. It's better to believe what Trump's publicly preaching, then thinking he won't be so bad or will only go after others, which is a god awful rationale that has to be done to pull the lever for turnip. It sucks realizing that followers have to dehumanize others to support someone like Trump because we don't think like that.
  17. Reminds me of a golfer that uncannily keeps winning his own course championships.
  18. I think he's going to lose in a landslide. And if doesn't, then a large majority of this country is going to be complicit in something as bad or worse as the Japanese interment camps.
  19. Wait till more Americans flee there and upset the apple cart. Americans would fuck up the garden of Eden. First, we'd widen the roads through the garden so our SUVs could fit. Then we'd pepper the landscape with Dominos, Crackerbarrels and plastic waste. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Democrat out of necessity and not because I enjoy it. I see people be shitty to each other daily. We need custodians and sanitation workers--don't disparage them. If we all had to take a turn, maybe we'd be polite and stop pissing all over the floors next to the urinal. And stay off my lawn.
  20. Add it to he would be willing to suspend democracy for a day (only for a day), can interfere with elections and could shoot somebody on a busy nyc street and not lose supporters and we arrive at Kamala needs to have an interview on a propaganda channel. We all admit they are a cult and he’s a fascist, let’s not agree to meet on a lawfully established nazi mouthpiece. I’ll even spare us the suspense—it won’t be 120% which is what’s needed from her, not the nazi. If she loses, let’s agree that she ran a good campaign in a rigged system that its populace failed.
  21. I'm willing to bet the same applies to most Muslims. There's no way logically, that they could vote for someone or support another that would basically enable a presidency for someone that vocally states his disdain for Muslims. That's akin to voting to potentially send your family back to the hell they escaped.
  22. I listened to an interview with McMaster that was an absolute beating. It's hard to hear someone as bright as Preet try and find agreement with someone stating both sides, Democrats refused to meet Trump halfway bullshit for an hour. Preet called him out several times and he wouldn't even stand by his own stances he stated in his own books. Everybody that works in Trumps orbit is a shit bag.
  23. They're not looking for her support. Their viewers aren't tuning in for an olive branch and reconciliation. If FOX got bought out by Mark Cuban tomorrow, then their viewers migrate to a place like OAN or the Daily Caller, who with enough viewers, would get a person in the WH press corp. Why not, they have relationships with Supreme Court Justices. If Democrats can't win in the states they offered FEMA relief to, these people would be more willing to cut off their own life support than vote for a Democrat. Logic has nothing to do with it--they vote against their interests. If it weren't so, lowering prescription drugs should be a slam dunk, especially knowing that a Republican very much reverses it. They don't care. I mean, if she undid the 18th Amendment, she'd hear a lot more agreement from their viewers, just not at the ballot box.
  24. And for the record, Hillary won the popular vote by a landslide. Republicans can win elections with a minority, and each time Democrats win, they re-up their gaming the system. Well, if Kamala can just speak at some of the central, more prominent Klan rallies, maybe she can reach a segment of the population Democrats couldn't ordinarily reach.
