  1. Can Rodman come back? Edit: I kid, sort of.
  2. US women going to feel sick if they lose this. So many opportunities.
  3. Thought for sure Horan found the back of the net but great save.
  4. She's so damn good. Everybody sees it's going to her and is in pursuit and she still blows right by them.
  5. I see everything that they are saying into cameras, and Trump demanding to move the trial to WV, or have the Supreme Court intervene as delay tactics. I wouldn't put it past them to try for a mistrial, even though they would have to pay court fees. But I'm not a lawdog, so my lack of court knowledge probably shows.
  6. I worked in publishing for about 14 years (non-profit) and that was pretty standard. Use an image, pay for it in addition to getting several copies of the book. Or just get copies of the book, since it was for a non-profit and wasn't going for sale. But some contracts requested number of books to be printed and at what retail amount, and whether it would be a cover image or size, to determine cost. Also, is this thing even going to have an ISBN number? If not, then maybe just get copies of the book. Things to consider. They like your images because they look professional, so they should be able to pay for professional quality images.
  7. No kidding. I've now heard Joy Division in the produce aisle and Sisters of Mercy in the deli at Safeway.
  8. Surprised Alito didn't state his Fuck You, they are above the law while popping a champaign bottle and inhaling a line from a prostitutes crack aboard Crows yacht.
  9. She ain't lip syncing. There's a bit of delay, the background music and her background vocals are all dubbed but she's singing the song. You can hear her breath or drag her voice in places, which varies from the recording--"see how the glass is raised" and onward... Just watching it on your phone varies from watching it on your computer. But I've also heard the song thousands of times. Her, Kate Bush and Siouxsie are three singers I crushed on early and still love listening to.
  10. There's those thots we've been told about. So much forehead in one picture.
  11. Loved Jerusalem and Drink Before the War--hell the whole album of Lion and Cobra. Burned out that album when it first dropped--she was it. Loved the subtlety of I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got and bits and pieces of proceeding albums. Always enjoyed her background lyrics with Jah Wobble: Much like Elliott Smith, you gave a lot and I'll miss hearing your newest offerings and all that spirit inside. Gone too soon, RIP. Leaving another special song, Just Call Me Joe, from that first masterpiece
  12. This will always be my favorite--they didn't know what hit them.
  13. And why wouldn't Fox push wedge issues in the next election? They prosper from dividing the population.
  14. That depends--are we going to talk about reparations and other stuff that will divide blue votes? Because Democrats love them some self dick stompage.
  15. Do all these grifters and January 6'ers lose their right to vote since they were criminally charged? Because that would be fantastic.
  16. They're arguing slavery while calling them slaves. The word slave has never had positive connotations associated with it. They were property, which means they weren't considered individuals or even human. Belonging to somebody isn't free. Ask Ron if he values his freedom, or would he prefer to belong to somebody else? What were the consequences of escape--more job training? Because we have visuals for what did happen and it shouldn't be acceptable in a Christian, God fearing or any nation. And that is our history.
  17. Shots fired. What's SCOTUS going to do about it? Republican states openly stating they don't have to follow rules if they disagree with them--so much for law and order (yet again). That is essentially what state rights mean to Southern states, and I'm glad they're pulling this card well in advance of the' 24 election. If they are openly in contempt of the highest court on this, moving forward, they will openly challenge everything else they disagree with as well. Is SCOTUS going to ignore this or attempt to capitulate to their demands of open voter suppression? As they like to say--Fuck Your Feelings (rights, votes, rulings, laws). This is a direct challenge to America as a Democracy--let's see how the Supreme Court treats it. The world is watching.
  18. I love hearing that we need psyche wards and places for mental help, while voting against all of it.
