  1. Taafe and the Simmons upstream defending the offense brings attention to the fact that there is a gimp on the team, that needs their protection. The fact that they have to defend it, a fucking Manning no doubt, and a cripple offense being called, should make Sark ashamed of his coaching, and bringing that scrutiny to a winning side of the ball that deserves far more than what they're being asked to do--defend the shitty play calling of a head coach that refuses to recognize his own deficiencies. That string is going to get tighter till it snaps. He's got them, a tight knit group that believes in each other and bought into the system, except Sark is the weak link offensively, by not recognizing his limitations and that of several of his coaches. Not only has he not adjusted in games, he hasn't adjusted the offense overall. Plays are being predicted by telecasters, game planned by equally talented teams (tOSU, Georgia, and fucking UF) and he's calling the offensive schemes right into their practice plans. Sark needs to be a leader, and recognize his limitations. And if Sark wants to be an offensive coordinator, he should take that job and let somebody else head coach the team. It's troubling as hell that he can't see the problem from his dual perspective as both an offensive coordinator and head coach. But Sark is blinded by pride and will reward his championship defense to a lackluster season because of it. He's going to tell that side of the ball, a group that's taught to diagnose and exploit weaknesses in especially shitty offenses, what--that this is a team effort? They deserve better, maybe think about the team, and start diagnosing coaching, beginning with that of the head coach, which is to find and hire the best coaches to do their jobs, from the top down. What the fuck does he do in weekly coaching meetings--apologize to the other coaches for the offense being a colossal fuck up once again?
  2. Ethan Hawke could bring the same mesmerizing dynamic that Woody Harrelson or a Stephen Dorff character had. He's his own dude, but I definitely enjoy him in this Coen-esque role, operating between earnest and levity. Sterlin Harjo is carrying Hulu right now.
  3. I'm in and also would watch Ethan Hawke doing a True Detective or Fargo. Somebody needs to make it happen.
  4. Turnip isn’t affected by tariffs since he’s sitting on the treasury.
  5. I’ve seen that exact scenario play out against a side wall and said the same thing.
  6. We're going to squander a good to great defense on this shit show of an offense Sark has built. It's his offense, since he's designated himself that position, so the blame is solely his.
  7. Those receiving stats--wtf? I can see it from Manning because he's skipping passes, but your top receiver had 3 catches, for 37 yards? That's damning as fuck. The next is Mosley with 1 catch for 31 yards, it's only down from there, against Kentucky.
  8. Is there such a thing as a mercy win?
  9. We've regressed with 2 top qbs. I can't even--this is a Sark problem.
  10. Let's see how Texas out stupids Stoops.
  11. Almost have to defer in the hopes that the defense can score and end this shit show.
  12. Probably supposed to be reminded as a team, to keep the play in bounds too. Guess that didn't happen.
  13. Moore--thanks for getting Texas closer and keeping Kentucky in the game on the same play. Just the dumbest. We can fuck up a wet dream.
  14. Texas going out of their way again to make winning hard. On the time out, drill Moore to stay in bounds. But fg--hopefully, Texas survives to trot out Sark's abhorrent offense next week against another compelling bottom feeder.
  15. Please dear god don't drop Arch back to pass, or we may lose precious fg yardage.
  16. Texas just needs to get 3 for the win, and Niblett has just about gift wrapped that part.
  17. Arkansas under Petrino is a dangerous team. That game very well could go either way. Sark refusing to acknowledge or see his blind spots is a decision that's going to have to come from above. But he's flushing what he's built and too damn stupid to see it.
  18. I was on the fence on Texas vs OU, because OU just wasn't deep nor had much on the back end defensively, but Aggies are going to whoop Texas ass if we come out like today and UF. And Sark can't see it coming because his brilliance is blinding him. Sark is floundering against a shitty team.
  19. We got a slant or a short game? Any dump offs or outlets? Guess Washington and Endries are no longer needed since we have a 4 point lead.
  20. Arch should've run that for the first.
  21. The defense gets game ball for this shit show. The win is all on them and it's not even close.
  22. While we get told he's improving and the game is slowing down for him to hit wide open receivers.
  23. He views himself better than anything available out there, so it's his blame to shoulder.
  24. This team better win the Alamo bowl with their...checks notes, Stroh level backups. I don't know why you wouldn't bail for the pro's outright this year if you've even remotely got a shot.
