  1. That was a solar flare. Only 1 piece (another one at 10 o’clock-ish. Not 31 pieces unfortunately for the sun
  2. Seeing the solar flares with the naked eye was something extra incredible. Wow.
  3. The jam-out of the organ on “Eclipse” during the height of totality with a gummie high was beyond outstanding.
  4. Had a break in the clouds for all of totality and will for the remainder. Followed my plan from earlier in the thread. absolutely. Fucking. Ethereal.
  5. I’m out in Crawford. Less cloud coverage than even in Waco. “And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it’s sinking…”
  6. The good thing is, he's not extending his strike zone to compensate for it. He's staying disciplined and accepting the garbage in stride. That is a sign that this kid is going to be a fucking superstar.

Makes me smile every time I see him on the field with that level of raw talent around him and know he's one of ours. My how the turntables.
  8. Trust Hloby. He's the one in the right and everyone else is wrong. These things come around all the time, and they are a nothingburger....
  9. Bright and sunny in Waco right now. Looks like the low level stuff is starting to burn off and may hold on through the event. Storms later this afternoon.
  10. Maybe we’ll swing the hammer today and not leave so many on. Would love to see a 15 hit performance again and a 10+ margin.
  11. So they paid all that money just to compete with the A’s?!
  12. Now just put Adolis’ face on the stickholder

  14. Maybe if Russia would quit being a gaping pussy we'd be able to go to Yalta in 2030.
  15. I would've state it as "Population Pressures Produce...." rather than Overpopulation, but solid effort nonetheless.
  16. The FED is going to get itself into a second, more disturbing pickle here really soon. One thing I've noticed lately, is there is a ton of heavy equipment/vehicle inventory in the market right now (both new and used) and I have a feeling we're going to start to see that creep down further into other consumer durables. That's going to seriously way on economic activity, leading to a healthy pullback. Secondly, if the FED stays off the cut train too long, they're going to get to a situation where a cut is going to look bad rather than inspire stimulus...i.e. they'll have to make too big a cut and that will spook the markets and business owners in a major way. That will make the market have a wipeout pullback.
  17. I've been saying for a few months I don't think we're cutting this year.
