  1. There could not be a better role for Rollins. Saw it a few years ago I liked it.
  2. Wait a minute. This is a Spencer for hire origin story?
  3. I started watching on Hulu about a year ago but gave up half way through season one because of commercials. Starting back now that it’s on Netflix.
  4. With 2500+ trucks we get a hell of a discount. We have an app for our fuel card that shows us the fuel price with the discount. The green is the lowest in the search area. I’ve turned it into a game of chasing the green dots..
  5. If these vids are boring let me know and I’ll stop. Trying to figure out a good way to use the camera. And if there is something y’all would like to know or see let me know and I’ll try to figure something out. Leaving the TA in Meridian MS on my way to Baytown TX [/url] Almost to Baytown and this guy almost ate the trailer in the right lane. The prospective of the camera doesn’t do justice to how close this actually was. You can see the break lights and the swerve at the last second.
  6. Bless your heart. I was doing a little trailer trucking today. Lol I reset the trip meter after I filled up in Meridian MS. So that mpg and speed is for the 508.5 to Baytown TX That includes crossing the Bridge in Red Stick at 15:30 this afternoon. There is practically no traffic out here anywhere. That’s I-10 bridge west bound in Baton Rouge at 3:30 in the afternoon.
  7. Mercer does have dry vans. Freight hasn’t changed much in the lanes I’ve been running but the fuel surcharge has gone away for the most part which makes most guys think the rates are dropping. I paid $1.46 gal in MS today.
  8. In this time of fear and uncertainty, there is only one man who can bring us all together.
  9. I have 150 and 120. I can do 1200-1400 miles on a fill up but I’m usually looking for fuel around 800 miles just because I don’t trust a fuel gauge.
  10. Got a load of forklifts picking up in the morning going to Corpus. Im going to keep running as long as I can. Unfortunately open deck doesn’t get much essential freight. Unless it all goes to shit and the military starts mobilizing. I will try to stay within a tank of fuel from the house in case I have to get there in a hurry.
  11. So to clear up a few myths. Truck stops are open. Restaurants are closed to seating but you can order to go. Same with the fast food joints in the truck stops. Showers are still open along with bathrooms. All of the scales I’ve passed from GA through upstate NY have been closed. Traffic has been much lighter in the cities I’ve passed through. Rest areas are open for parking only. I’m a little nervous about tomorrow. I’ve got a stop here in Syracuse and on in Albany. I hope they are open to receive. Trying to get a load back to Texas and will try to stay within a tank of fuel to the house in case it all shuts down. So far it’s been business as usual but I’m afraid that’s about to change as I think this is about to ramp up over the next week or so. Keeping myself entertained this weekend trying not to dwell on all the drama.
  12. May contain salty language. And yes I do listen to trucking songs while I’m trucking. Don’t judge me.
  13. I had one before but I couldn’t figure out how to download video to share. This one makes it almost too easy.
  14. Austin has been pushed to May 29th https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.rollingstone.com/music/music-country/sturgill-simpson-tyler-childers-tour-dates-rescheduled-covid-19-967340/amp/
  15. Close. It’s a 230. I was streaming to my phone 5 minutes after plugging in. Company sells them to us for $25 if it’s our first cam. $148 online.
  16. I’ll have the lines short enough to turn but won’t be getting tangled up. I hat a T connection done so that I can still use airlines in the traditional way if I need to grab a different trailer for some reason. Also I think I still have to use glad and on the other end under the trailer. Some bullshit DOT rule. But the quick connects make it easier for when I drop the trailer. I can leave the air lines with the trailer instead of having to tie them up on the tractor somehow.
  17. That was what I was hearing too. Emissions would have to meet the truck not the engine. Most of the glider guys were doing it not only for emissions but to avoid the ELD mandate.
  18. I researched the gliders before I bought mine and there were just too many horror stories about warranty work battles between Fitzgerald and Peterbilt. Also rumors at the time of the feds cracking down on glider rules.
  19. Must have been Fitzgerald’s. I’m bummed to hear that there were so many the same color as mine. Iv actually only seen 3 others on the road since I got mine last year.
