  1. It’s also July 4. We haven’t lost shit, yet. Nor won anything. I’ll be extra concerned if deep into the season (when W-L records and funds are examined for legitimacy) we aren’t pulling in the players we need to continue to compete with the Georgias and Ohio States of the CFB world. I really like many of the recruits who have pledged a “commitment” so far, and if the season plays out like I expect it to, if the Texas checks continue to cash (they will) and if Simmons/Goosbys/etc develop as they should, our coaches will have a great sales pitch, likely far better than just about any program.
  2. On OTF he said he brings versatility as a LB, but admitted he sees himself as more of an edge. His coaches talked about how the concept of “positionless football” was perfect for Kosi. I’m glad we beat out Penn State, because they would seem to have a great track record to sell, with Parsons/Abdul Carter as prototypes. His tape is great, deserves more hype as a pick-up. http://www.hudl.com/video/3/15261697/67327a3f001106a963bc9658
  3. I want that kid to move in with Derrick Johnson and learn everything he can, he seems to already have the tomahawk chop. Thanks for the link to his Hudl, very impressive player
  4. I was wondering why in the world would Henry James get triggered by a Marvin Gaye classic, then I realized you’re talking about “What’s Up?” which triggers me for its stupid title that never appears in the song.
  5. Welcome to the program, Kosi! Thank you for choosing us.
  6. That kid manipulated the fuck outta Florida. Dropped dimes to every $9.95er out there that Texas was in the lead, and every time a different DT picked a team not named “Florida,” he made sure to remind the recruiting hacks how much he loved Texas. To save face, the Gators broke the bank. Smart kid.

  9. You didn’t go anywhere, you just created Boko Bevo or whatever hell the name is, because no one else would stan for Spider2YBanana 🤣 (Just screwing with you, and even though the relentless shitposting at 4 in the morning on multiple threads gets weird, hope you’re managing life ok.)
  10. Kevin Spacey was known to be pretty handsy ‘bout this time. Hope you watched your cornhole, bud.
  11. Lotsa fuck machines on this board. Meanwhile…
  12. Nothing gets that boy’s juices flowing like mortgages, smelly sex vans and draft projections.
  13. “Bah gawd, that’s @Wulaw Horn’s music!”
  14. I’m definitely being a size-ist. Getting Ky Woods/Colin Page vibes.
  15. Watched Estrada’s tape, and he looks like those guys who try hard and kick ass in the spring game.
  16. There’s a sad/pissed off woman with a gun, allegedly sitting in a lawn chair in the middle of a freeway. Chronicle will have a better article, I don’t care to subscribe https://abc13.com/post/north-freeway-shut-down-both-ways-cypresswood-amid-heavy-law-enforcement-presence-armed-woman-pct-4-says/16855435/
  17. I liked the part about the quivering lip and crying out, “You said, ‘Absofuckinglutely!’” It gave it an extra layer of texture.
  18. I was curious about the Brooke Burns clip (blonde with longhorn undies) and found this a couple weeks ago (it’s more than 22 years old 🤯). 2003-04-10 Model and host of "Dog Eat Dog", Brooke Burns, poses on the CBS programme "The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn", April 4 in New Orleans. Burns dropped her jeans to show her pick for this year's NCAA men's Final Four, the University of Texas Longhorns. Burns, a Dallas, Texas native, helped Kilborn wrap up the show's weeklong stint of "Final Four"- themed broadcasts from New Orleans April 4.
  19. Yeah, the beauty of the original is the spot on synchronization of the dudes when they first begin doing the fist pumping
