  1. Great catch, but with all respect to Iverson and “it’s practice,” get up and score (they had refs spotting the ball, so where you land/ended up with the ball seemed to matter). OK, I’ll go yell at some clouds now. Glad to see him doing well, that weirdly bad rap he received seems to have created a useful, spite-filled chip on his shoulder.
  2. What Gerry Says: This is where you insert what Gerry says about the player. 😄 Bobby’s Need-ometer (a 1-10 ranking of how important the player is to the Texas class). He can provide context on whether it’s a positional need or if that particular transfer is just that dude.
  3. Just watched Womack’s hudl from 2147’s link, he had multiple scoring plays with punt returns and INTs, and I’m pretty sure he was jogging most of the time, kinda funny to watch.
  4. You know who does “horns down?”: Just own the fucking thing. As noted above, it represents a pissed off longhorn. If Sark were to attend a rally and say something like, “Thanks to everyone for reminding us what an angry longhorn looks like” and flashed it, it takes away any perceived power. Of course, CDC probably likes the cut from decal sales from moron sooner and aggy fans.
  5. I never heard about that… and LG was even a Houston Cougar! Thanks for the remembrance.
  6. Hopefully, he’ll receive this greeting. As we all know, the #100 and Coach Royal will always have added significance. So Coach, hope you’re resting well, chilling with some of your buddies and good music. Hook ‘em.
  7. I suspect he’s waiting for sunset because they have some gender reveal style fireworks display with the school colors. So, about 20 minutes from now…
  8. Kinda like the “what is really Houston?” debate, did your parents tell you your skull was part of your back?
  9. I think the county club cocktails are starting to hit…
  10. Or…
  11. I watched Sanders’ Hudl this morning, expecting to see a flabby shitball on toothpick legs getting his ass kicked, but I saw a lot to like.
  12. I have zero surprise associated with this news.
  13. Jeez, these threads can take bizarre turns, and I hate contributing, but here I am. Before communication was as “sophisticated” and as frequent as it is today (answering machines), the scoop is Trooper Taylor (at Baylor at the time) called Douglas’ house, and left a message that he was a Texas assistant and they would no longer be pursuing Jerrod. JD got the message, and committed to Baylor. It apparently really was that fucking stupid. Bucky Godbolt was as pissed as anyone I’d ever seen following our obliteration of Baylor that weird year we played them at 10am on either Thanksgiving or T+1, screaming “We didn’t have to cheat!” over and over again.
  14. If he’s a 5 star yet the 9th best player in Alabama, I presume you’ll have 6 stars, too? (I know you’re working out the kinks, just f’in with you.)
  15. His feet are always active yet his eyes are always up, searching for the open receiver. Very advanced for a HS junior sophomore He’ll just get stronger and smarter, terrific prospect. Thanks for choosing us, Dia. And another example of a parent with professional experience in sports putting the stamp of approval on Sark & Texas Football. (Thanks, Irish)
  16. Ahh, the Sunflower (Seed) State
  17. As we heard in the last cycle with TyAnthony Smith, aggy has a lot of influence in Jasper, but lets hope it works out like TyAnthony in the end.
  18. Also visiting is an uncle. Unfortunately, it’s Damonic Williams’ uncle.
  19. Hey guys, stop being a buncha meanies! Some threads are needed, like this one. I’m not sure if he was born in 1953 or graduated then. Probably a @Red Five sock 🤣
  20. I wonder if his mom knows why he gets more tan and loses his pot belly when he takes his helmet off.
  21. Any Hayes Fawcett tea leaves reader out there know what it means when he has the Longhorn logo sticking up a player’s ass? “We hooked him!”?
  22. That’s not a forced perspective thing, he actually is four parking garage floors tall. (And “had” arrived? Did he turn around and leave?)
  23. I count 8 2026 QBs and 4 2027 QBs on the list above, and none are 2026 four star Will Griffin, who’s visited Texas twice. https://247sports.com/player/will-griffin-46134943/ Perhaps a conflict, or the decision has been made by one or both parties to move on.
  24. We’re strengthening our Gardner Webb pipeline.
