  1. Big hitter, the Lama Zelus. Comes in with his head a bit low on some of his big hits. I thought after decades of “keep your head up” to avoid injury being drilled into these kids that you wouldn’t see much of this, but Zelus don’t give a fuck. He’s a badass.
  2. Perhaps he’s just a clean freak. My garage has gotten a bit out of hand, anyone have his number?
  3. Nothing against the guy, but perhaps the least impactful portal loss possible. (Max isn’t going anywhere, so that one’s not “possible.”) Always seemed like an odd take, a throwback to the Ben Davis/Ray Thornton days where we took guys from successful programs and hoped they would become a contributor, even when the past didn’t suggest that would be the case. Those guys may have helped with the “culture” install, but it seems we now have that part down pretty well. Stating the obvious, our portal takes need to be immediate contributors to justify taking a spot from badass HS recruits who want to jump in the boat. Good luck, Kendrick.
  4. Yeah, history says otherwise
  5. This smacks of a kid reaching out to us, wanting to have a little chat. We’re the cool school again.
  6. Just announced, Jason Kelce has been added to the ESPN MNF Pregame Show. Yay.
  7. The Naked Gun predicted this ridiculousness some 35 years ago. Offers no value, just noise.
  8. Perhaps he’ll stay in Indiana and mosey on over to South Bend. Looks like the ND punter has yet to declare a destination. Not sure why a guy portals from Notre Dame, he’ll have plenty of exposure. Irish $9.95 board I just checked out claims he had some consistency issues (don’t many punters?), but was expected to be the guy.
  9. Some guy mentioned CTJ the other day when discussing portal numbers, and another replied, “Who’s CTJ?”
  10. You all sound like a bunch of poopy heads. I know in the past, Rick has bemoaned needing to walk that fine line between running a free-wheeling board and his increasing interaction with the powers that be (NIL has just increased that need). Bobby long ago made the choice to go clean, likely because he is part of the machine and deals with guys like CDC all the time. Imma wanted content creation. Bobby needed a web platform. Marriage made in G-Rated Heaven. I don’t really post over there, or quite frankly, open many of the threads since many are 80 year olds typing with one finger, finally venturing out into this new internet thing with the cheerleader posts (“We love you Jerry!”). Worse yet, there are several LTx wannabes who think their every thought is thread worthy (sometimes creating multiple threads for the same subject). I think some see the board as an opportunity to act like a moderator/expert.
  11. Ewers will obviously need to have an effective year, but he demonstrated during the Texas Pro Day the arm talent to be a high first rounder. That was a brilliant move by Sark to get him that experience. It also gave the scouts and coaches in attendance a preview.
  12. Blue is ready to go and has put in the work.
  13. Time is relative but the Draft moved to 7 rounds 30 years ago. I’m getting up there myself, and 1994 doesn’t seem like a long time ago, but the math says otherwise. 😂
  14. Tashard Choice has told Blue to model his game after Jahmyr Gibbs, as he sees them as very similar players (Blue talks about it on “3rd & Longhorn” and may have even mentioned it in his media availability). Gibbs went in the first to Detroit. Just saying it doesn’t will it into existence, but that’s the comp with skill sets, and Choice would know. Adding this:
  15. Field Yates with ESPN just told me Texas A&M Commerce was located in Waxahachie. I did not know that.
  16. What’s the delay? Pick Detroit fuckers
  17. I suspect Paxton Anderson admires JWhitt quite a bit, so I won’t be surprised to see Dallas use a 7th on him to avoid missing out in free agency. Or I guess they could just make sure his FA deal insures he picks Dallas.
  18. Owner
  19. Too bad they (Brooks and Sanders) land with the worst owner in the league. Shitshow.
  20. He’s had two knee surgeries. Yes, he had a helluva collegiate career, but the injury history has to be considered. As a Cowboys fan who lived thru Sean Lee and Vander Esch, I’m ok passing. *Fixed Vander Esch
  21. I think they stayed put.
  22. The Texans front office gets a little grace after last year, but trading up to get a USC defender seems curious. Granted, I don’t know shit about fuck regarding the player.
  23. Three networks are showing the draft. Who are you talking about?
  24. JT Sanders gonna drop to KC, and they get their Kelce replacement. Edit: just saw Mo Horn with the same sentiment
  25. Taking a dump, just not because Dallas took another shitty, overrated Wolverine. Maybe it’s the Taco Bell?
