  1. As usual, Cafe Society drops some knowledge though the car did slide under the big truck it was following and the top of the vehicle was pretty well sheared off. That led to the creation of the “Mansfield Bar” on trucks, that low hanging sturdy steel frame that’s designed to keep similar crashes from happening.
  2. I watched Murphy vs. Kansas State. As a result, I’d be ok with it.
  3. Yeah, evaluating the starting point of my “animal,” it does seem to just be a flat piece of paper or lighter weight material that blows to the edge of the fallen ceiling, then somehow getting propped up . I was confused by what I thought were glowing eyes, which I see often when viewing my patio camera showing little visitors in the night.
  4. Trying to read tea leaves on the Singleton wooing without any inside knowledge, but his hometown of Douglasville appears to be just 25 miles from Atlanta, where he’s also played his college football the last two years, so he’s familiar with a big city environment. He would be coached at Texas by a former NFL receivers coach, a school which has produced recent NFL draft picks at the position (and should again with Bond). I’m assuming NIL would be attractive. Like Georgia Tech, Texas offers a quality education if that’s important. Texas plays in the best conference. And he would be catching passes from Arch Manning. It would seem a good match.
  5. My Dan Fogelberg knowledge has me now singing, “…He kept her warm and safe and dryyyyy.” I think one of the big requirements for architecture is good penmanship. Or at least the ability to print really, really well.
  6. When the artist was sketching his vision, was that canoe-oodling? I’ll show myself out…
  7. Hedy Lamarr . No, not “Hedley,” you Saddles worshipping fucks.
  8. I’m just seeing this so a bit late, but in the video linked in the KUT report, at about :38 you can see what appears to be a small animal (I’m guessing squirrel, could also be a cat) race to the far edge of the collapsed ceiling and gawk at the destruction. The reflected light from its eyes help to see it. Hope the little fella didn’t have any family underneath the crash zone.
  9. My positive rep comes in the form of a laughing emoji due to the brilliant bolded, italicized lamentations of the Texas pearl clutchers. Nice work. Needs the Well written content stamp of approval.
  10. On the CFP announcement show, Skatteboo said a large cheer erupted from the room when it was revealed Texas would be a potential opponent, due to former Longhorn players on the Arizona State team.
  11. Willams was free to make the tackle for loss because GB was double teaming Murphy.
  12. Haven’t watched it, probably won’t but it’s already in the conversation of most expensive flops of all time. Box office was so bad, they apparently accelerated the rollout to Prime. Johnson was reportedly paid a ridiculous $50,000,000, which is a giant hurdle to overcome right out of the gate. Of course, none of this means it’s not watchable in some way (I like looking at “smoke” chicks on the beach). I also need to justify that $139+ tax I shell out for Prime every year… what the hell, cue it up!
  13. I just hope Brandon Harris doesn’t fuck up and mistakenly offer scrawny actor Lukas Haas instead. (OK, that one was just for me. 👀)
  14. Finkley is a strong kid, reportedly brilliant and a hard worker, just not blessed with much natural explosion, flexibility, quickness, bend, etc., that help players in that role succeed at the highest levels (in. which we participate). Others have passed him on the depth chart. What he represented at the time of his recruitment was a beacon call to the powers that be in the southeast that Texas would recruit top players in that area and could win them. His family is top notch, and our message of future success and a strong positive culture resonated with them, and we won his recruitment. Smart people saw our promise. I’m quite gruntled Dr. Finkley is still saying good things about us, as it confirms they aligned with the right people: it just didn’t work out optimally, and it’s best for Justice to give it a shot elsewhere. I suspect we’ll all be rooting for him.
  15. I presume Thompson is looking for a school with an on-campus helipad for when mommy visits.
  16. He’ll take them if they change their names to Modelo and Dos Equis.
  17. At first,I was, “Damn, this guy has used up his eligibility, otherwise he could come in and help Helo.” But then I realized he can come in immediately as a GA and get to work on the transfers as Helobius’ intern.
  18. Uh yeah, thankfully that could’ve never happened here…
  19. I’m not sure exactly why Coleman didn’t follow Sanders to Colorado, but my supreme Internet sleuthing abilities (watching some guy on YouTube) clams it was because he wanted the opportunity to be “the man” rather than continue to be in the shadow of Hunter. If he hasn’t burned bridges with Deion, I could see them reuniting (provided Prime remains in Boulder).
  20. Thanks for the tip, but I’m happy to be outed as an embroidery fraud. 😀
  21. Redshirting isn’t a thing anymore, if he’s good enough to play, Hills can play in the playoffs with no games counting against his four game regular season minimum. Did January redshirt? If so, same for him and every other freshman or player preserving a redshirt season.
  22. Lebby has always been ok with moving forward without permission
