  1. I posted a pic three years ago in this thread, Post #70. Some things are better left unseen (and the documentary claims she brought in more than a million bucks).
  2. Couldn’t find anything on this on the Movies & TV forum, three part doc is oh Hulu. Ep 1 a little slow, but picks up, Ep 2 disturbing as hell. Actual audio and video from the freak is used, he’s such a narcissist, he provided them to the filmmakers. It’s just preposterous to think this could happen. https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2023/02/larry-ray-sarah-lawrence-sex-cult From the article: In 2005, five years before he moved into his daughter’s dorm at Sarah Lawrence College and took a cult-like hold over her young friends, Larry Ray received a psychological evaluation. It was conducted as part of a custody trial with Ray’s ex-wife, and the judgment was alarming. “It is literally impossible to evaluate Mr. Ray in the usual clinical manner,” concluded the evaluator. “His personality dynamics are so configured that he is able to manipulate and control almost any situation in which he finds himself, including a psychological interview with a forensic examiner, no matter how experienced that examiner may be. Mr. Ray is very good at what [he] does.” The report, which is uncovered in Hulu’s new three-part docuseries Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence, goes on to call Ray a “calculating, manipulative, and hostile man who masks his hostility, presenting instead a boyish, charming façade.” The summary proved prophetic in 2010, when Ray began posing as a mentor to his daughter’s college-age friends and brainwashing them. He systematically isolated them from their families and friends, pressured them into degrading and sometimes sexual scenarios, controlled what they ate and to whom they spoke, and ultimately exploited them for hundreds of thousands of dollars. In Stolen Youth, a group of Ray’s followers sit down with Oscar-nominated filmmaker Zach Heinzerling (Cutie and the Boxer) to retrace their traumatic journey with Ray—revealing how, bit by bit, they fell under Ray’s bizarre spell. “I think in cult situations, there can be judgment of the victim—how could you fall for that?” Heinzerling tells Vanity Fair.“There’s no acknowledgement of the complicated nature of that experience.” The survivors were willing to open up on camera to bridge that knowledge gap, says the filmmaker—“to explain what happened, what it was like to be 19 and introduced to your girlfriend’s dad or your friend’s dad. And how, over a slow, methodical progression, it metastasized into something horrible.” More in the link.
  3. Was it a metaphorical beat down in a post/series of posts that left Geoffy in an above ground pool of tears, or an actual pummeling? Because I would presume trying to land a punch would be like hitting Baymax or the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, your fist would just sink deeper and deeper, then an elastic effect would send you to the other side of the room.
  4. So, LeBron is getting traded from the Lakers tomorrow? 🤣
  5. It’s like a self-loathing bot on its period, ChatPMS.
  6. Yeah, GH just posted the article. He’s part of us, now
  7. Maybe the kid had a quiz in his nine o’clock he’s avoiding?
  8. If he picks Texas, once again I’ll say his troll game is on point.
  9. It was weather, for fuck’s sake. Although he might be a troll, he wore a TCU jacket to the ceremony.
  10. Roberson is scheduled to announce at a ceremony scheduled to begin at 8:30 this morning at the Red Oak H.S. Gymnasium. Not sure how soon after 8:30 he makes his declaration. IT’s Justin Wells is allegedly in attendance.
  11. Diaz is literally one of the coaches I’ve seen give Mack a stiff arm to keep him from the sweet nothings in his ear, he’s seen that bullshit up close and personal.
  12. I wish I could find it, there’s an awesome photo of Mack at his peak Mackness, and Steele at his peak Cuckness: after the 62-0 blowout of Baylor in ‘99 (I have to clarify the year, since we beat them 62-0 twice), Mack met Steele in the postgame handshake and grabbed the back of Steele’s head and pulled it next to his, whispering sweet “It’ll be oks” in his ear for about, 20 seconds. It was incredibly emasculating. Mack tried that move with a lot of coaches, but many finally resisted it.
  13. I think your #1 may be one of these…
  14. If I recall correctly, DGs often had high alcohol content as well.
  15. In the last hour, GH put out a “Best Class Scenario” article that simply added Duce and Roberson to the ‘23 crop. No real Duce update, Georgia, Texas and USC the usual suspects (I edited my post to put the schools in the same order as listed by Gerry). He did have this to say about Roberson in his list of commits/potentials: S Warren Roberson, Red Oak (Texas) High On3 Consensus: No. 270 The Saturday juice: Texas leads large over TCU headed into a scheduled Tuesday announcement.
  16. I've written it before, probably in this thread, that the “Fisher is a great coach” narrative was driven by his quid pro quo relationship with select… fuck that… several NFL beat writers. If you’ll recall, Fisher was the rare active coach on the NFL Competition Committee that set the rules every year. Fisher would be the one who tipped off Mortensen (his biggest lap dog) and Peter King and Dr. Z and John Clayton and Ed Werder, etc. about what was happening on the inside, and they always made sure his name was mentioned when “top coaches” were discussed. He may have gotten a raise or three out of Bud because of it. Jerry Jones always bought into it (he was on the Committee with Fisher) so I think it’s a miracle JJ never hired this shitheel. As we all know, this career .500 coach has been talked about in the most reverent of terms, all because he was buddy-buddy with the writers. And they are allowing this bullshit about needing time with his family. He got fired. Fuck Jeff Fisher.
  17. Some people may enjoy this lifestyle (I’m looking at you, Brennan Marion) but this would be a nightmare for me, never settling down, from 1995 on, a moving van in the driveway pretty much every other year (there are a couple three year stints). And he apparently has (or had) a wife and two kids.
  18. Gerry says Roberson is between Texas or TCU, chatter over the last 16 hours favors Texas, his “RPM” (crystal ball) remains in place for Texas. As noted earlier, Red Oak’s signing ceremony will be Tuesday, barring a monsoon or volcano eruption.
  19. Go back a page to post 32,500, it’s all there. Moved to Tuesday
  20. It’s a good joke, but I just put “Cincinnati” in Google Maps, and there are so many nice neighborhoods with trees I sneezed. Village of Indian Hills looks like a nice place for a millionaire. And it seems to be 21 minutes from the Bengals facility. Just pointing out these guys have options, rather than a scraped earth plot of land that looks like a Jarrell subdivision half a mile off 35. (Yes, not every neighborhood will be a welcome place for everyone, and I realize Cincinnati is essentially Northern Kentucky.) Just for the hell of it, here’s a different street from above in Indian Hills.
  21. Slight derail, but what a stupid fucking neighborhood. You know these mega-McMansions are ridiculously expensive, but you’re getting no privacy, no trees, not much of a yard. You pay the big bucks for the Big 3: Location, Location, Location.
  22. Well, shit. Gerry says “weather” has delayed the signing ceremony to Tuesday. Also says he doesn’t think anyone has received a LOI yet.
