  1. Haven’t watched it, probably won’t but it’s already in the conversation of most expensive flops of all time. Box office was so bad, they apparently accelerated the rollout to Prime. Johnson was reportedly paid a ridiculous $50,000,000, which is a giant hurdle to overcome right out of the gate. Of course, none of this means it’s not watchable in some way (I like looking at “smoke” chicks on the beach). I also need to justify that $139+ tax I shell out for Prime every year… what the hell, cue it up!
  2. I just hope Brandon Harris doesn’t fuck up and mistakenly offer scrawny actor Lukas Haas instead. (OK, that one was just for me. 👀)
  3. Finkley is a strong kid, reportedly brilliant and a hard worker, just not blessed with much natural explosion, flexibility, quickness, bend, etc., that help players in that role succeed at the highest levels (in. which we participate). Others have passed him on the depth chart. What he represented at the time of his recruitment was a beacon call to the powers that be in the southeast that Texas would recruit top players in that area and could win them. His family is top notch, and our message of future success and a strong positive culture resonated with them, and we won his recruitment. Smart people saw our promise. I’m quite gruntled Dr. Finkley is still saying good things about us, as it confirms they aligned with the right people: it just didn’t work out optimally, and it’s best for Justice to give it a shot elsewhere. I suspect we’ll all be rooting for him.
  4. I presume Thompson is looking for a school with an on-campus helipad for when mommy visits.
  5. He’ll take them if they change their names to Modelo and Dos Equis.
  6. At first,I was, “Damn, this guy has used up his eligibility, otherwise he could come in and help Helo.” But then I realized he can come in immediately as a GA and get to work on the transfers as Helobius’ intern.
  7. Uh yeah, thankfully that could’ve never happened here…
  8. I’m not sure exactly why Coleman didn’t follow Sanders to Colorado, but my supreme Internet sleuthing abilities (watching some guy on YouTube) clams it was because he wanted the opportunity to be “the man” rather than continue to be in the shadow of Hunter. If he hasn’t burned bridges with Deion, I could see them reuniting (provided Prime remains in Boulder).
  9. Thanks for the tip, but I’m happy to be outed as an embroidery fraud. 😀
  10. Redshirting isn’t a thing anymore, if he’s good enough to play, Hills can play in the playoffs with no games counting against his four game regular season minimum. Did January redshirt? If so, same for him and every other freshman or player preserving a redshirt season.
  11. Lebby has always been ok with moving forward without permission
  12. Sorry, I’m just an internet expert on embroidery, having looked it up literally:48 before posting.
  13. What a dumb choice, everyone knows needlepoint is better than cross stitch. Gah. If you are new to embroidery, the structure of cross-stitch may be the most appealing. You will only need to master one simple stitch to complete a project. Once you finish your first project, you will be a little more prepared for needlepoint because the cross stitch shows up in some needlepoint projects. If you wish to create a complex and more realistic image, needlepoint will be the best option. Needlepoint will also be the best solution if you want to create the look of different textures in one project or incorporate beads into a piece.
  14. Any points he would have gained would have just been plaid.
  15. I remember being surprised when I learned his first name was pronounced “Cameron.”
  16. Holy shit, this dude is still just a junior? And you know he’s not leaving. Dude is living his best life. I hope he’s helping the team GPA, and he’d better write a big ass check someday… https://texaslonghorns.com/sports/football/roster/max-merril/13444
  17. I’ve read on these boards Fertitta just gives a shit about basketball, right? He could make a difference at Cougar High. (And if you’re reading this Tilman, thank you for not retaining Golden, by the way.)
  18. It’s always a red flag when a player who’s been in college multiple years has the blurb writers reference their HS ranking rather than actual college production.
  19. Manny Diaz said, “Get me Mensah!” I want to see his face when this fuckhead walks thru the door…
  20. Yeah, #19 in the nation, #1 in Texas, That’s an OL LOL.
  21. As long as you have that avatar, you can post as often as you want on any subject. Love is never having to say you’re sorry.
  22. Shanahan was a weird case, one of the services had him rated wildly differently ( on the plus side) than all the others, I think it was Rivals. He might have been considered the best player in the state. Narrator: he wasn’t.
  23. Is he a good football player? Jared Verse was at Albany. Lotsa guys can ball at smaller schools.
  24. Have you not watched this show before? He’s always an unpleasant contrarian.
