  1. Not as much as you think. He's had the same girlfriend since high school. Lake Travis girls rule.
  2. Latest update on the Ringer. The Colts Have Very Little Wiggle Room to Solve Their QB Conundrum - The Ringer
  3. Las Vegas (and Nevada in genera) is filled with Mormons. They work in education and state/local government. They are more concerned about what they do as opposed to what you do.
  4. I live in St. Louis now that I am retired so I can spend the next few years driving my grandchildren to various practices so the good things are Great road trips within 400 miles - Columbia. Oxford, Nashville and Fayetteville. This is close enough for trips to watch baseball and volleyball. Not having to keep the most expensive tier of DirecTV so I can get the LHN Pushing Mizzou's shit in every year so I don't have to listen to all their whining, they are almost as bad as eATMe What will I miss about the Big XII? Nothing!

Skip the Little Apple next year, they were assholes when they were winning and I doubt their descent into mediocrity has improved the visiting fan experience.
  6. First time listener, enjoyed it very much especially since you were not pimping any real estate or mortgage people. Can't wait to participate in the NIL sweepstakes with the board, you will have to create another level beyond "Certifiably Surly" though. Looking forward to the next episode.
  7. We played there in 2009. The stadium is at 7000 feet above sea level and we had seats in the last row of the upper dec Had a great time and would go back again.
  8. I think the best thing would be for all athletes would be to run all their NIL revenue streams through the AD. This would insure that they Fully monetize their brand Would not get ripped off by unscrupulous actors Stay right with the IRS, Schedule C is a beautiful thing. The NIL department could be staffed by volunteers from the Business and Law schools.
  9. Congratulations!! My best friend has been sober for over 20 years and I am extremely proud of him.
  10. Not sure about that but pre pandemic, my wife and I were on several cruises in the Caribbean and everywhere we went, any problem that existed were blamed on the Venezuelan refugees. Just the latest people off the boat in my opinion, no more or less skilled than anyone else.
  11. Things are crazy everywhere. We moved from Austin to the suburbs west of St. Louis four years ago and our house had appreciated 25%. Things will not get back to some semblance of normal until interest rates go back up.
  12. The wife and I got the Moderna shot, son and daughter-in-law J&J. worrying now about the 15 and 12 year old grandchildren, which one if any.
  13. No, I was referring to a story by Kalein Jones on the Ringer. he was the former UT beat writer for the Atlantic
  14. It is criminal that Todd McShay still has a job after saying Jeven Sneed was a top 5 draft pick.
  15. The Trey Lance pick should mute the racial angst over Justin Fields dropping.
  16. Burton just posted that CDC issued the statement of support despite being told by the BMD's/Admin that it was not necessary. Per Burton's sources, the search goes on.
  17. I’m loving this game. All the ISU people I have met at UT games have been great. All the K-State fans have been absolute pricks.
  18. I suspect Fox Business 359 on Directv
  19. I thought the end game management was spot on. The last thing I wanted to see is another kick-off returned for a touchdown and then a two-point conversion as time expired.
  20. I thought it was a very good movie, it was over 2 hours long and never seemed to drag. Very straightforward view of the battle and not an ounce of political correctness. Also added in some completely factual Japanese atrocities to make the Chinese partners happy. Would definitely recommend it to parents with 9-14 year old kids. Not as gruesome as Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers.
  21. Not really surprised, but I thought the weight loss and upper body development showed some buy in to the program. Not a huge loss in the scheme of things.
