  1. I thought the end game management was spot on. The last thing I wanted to see is another kick-off returned for a touchdown and then a two-point conversion as time expired.
  2. I thought it was a very good movie, it was over 2 hours long and never seemed to drag. Very straightforward view of the battle and not an ounce of political correctness. Also added in some completely factual Japanese atrocities to make the Chinese partners happy. Would definitely recommend it to parents with 9-14 year old kids. Not as gruesome as Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers.
  3. Not really surprised, but I thought the weight loss and upper body development showed some buy in to the program. Not a huge loss in the scheme of things.
  4. After a 67 yard field goal, they certainly were.
  5. Back then, you were also allowed to bring in a different ball just for kicking. Erxleben, Steve Little and Tony Franklin all kicked 67 yard field goals that year. The ball looked like the Hindenburg.
  6. Two quarters of Kirk Heirstriet is a beating , like when he was the voice of NCAA Football
  7. Is. Kobe Boyce playing for Clemson now? wrong thread, neg away.
  8. Below is a link to salary information for all professional sports (Astro specific link), I like Reddick, but $13 million for next year is pretty steep. https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/houston-astros/payroll/
  9. Nolan Ryan had the same issue when he first came up to the Mets, he soaked his fingers in pickle brine. Things worked out okay for him.
  10. Now that is a name I have not heard in many a year.
  11. It’s still there. I graduated from Scarborough over 40 years ago and it was all white then. The demographics of that area have changed significantly. Surprised Delmar still exists.
