  1. Even John and Lance have failed to recreate the magic they once had. Charlie is the only one I listen to anymore, along with a little of Sean, Ted and Rich.
  2. Also, we took a party boat to the arch and back with dinner, dancing and a DJ. That was a lot of fun.
  3. We had a great time when we were there. Took a really fun ATV tour and caught a tuna on our charter. Ate a bunch of street tacos without any problems and a bunch of fantastic seafood. It’s an easy place to have a good time.
  4. Jeff Greenfield, the political commentator, once described Pennsylvania as Philadelphia to the East, Pittsburgh to the West and Alabama in the middle.
  5. I don’t know who Eva Cassidy is but Judy Garland’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow is iconic and sublime and has stood the test of time since 1939.
  6. Also Led Zep—Whole Lotta Love
  7. Clapton--Cocaine CSNY--Woodstock Bowie--Under Pressure Joan Jett's version of The Mary Tyler Moore theme song
  8. I've had 3 Samsung DLPs and I don't believe it's the bulb. I've replaced bulbs and it's basically an on/off. Either they work or they don't. You can try but it does sound like the color wheel is failing. Probably time for a new tv.
  9. Ooh, that Dave has such a potty mouth :). The concert was fantastic last night in The Woodlands. Sounds like the same set and same patter as in Austin. I saw both Bonham and Moon live and Taylor is a worthy successor. He was on fire last night. They played for 2.75 hours virtually non-stop although the band intros gave everyone a rest. Lots of Concrete and Gold, lots of hits and a nice mash up of Imagine and Under Pressure. A very enjoyable concert.
  10. Going with my daughter and my sister tonight in The Woodlands. Really looking forward to it.
  11. One of the finest restaurants in the U.S. is uptown on the riverbend---Brightsen's. It's a smallish house with several rooms of tables. Not to be missed if you can get in. Also, Joey K's on Magazine is a nice local place.
  12. That’s double the price you should pay. We had a 50 gallon installed in our attic last year for $750.
  13. Wag The Dog
  14. Going to Cabo in July. Not worried in the least.
  15. Utah. A healthy Damian Lillard makes the Trailblazers a dangerous team.
  16. No change in 77450. We didn’t flood but many houses in the zip code did.
  17. Pho Saigon, Les Givrals and Kim Son. I understand that Huynh’s is very good.
  18. Don’t miss Shaya. My wife and I went for four days in December, eating and drinking our way through the city, and it ended up being our favorite place.
  19. They are leaking oil at just the wrong time. They have played terribly the last four games and I don’t know if they can just turn it on when the intensity begins. At this point I’m mildly concerned but we’ll see soon enough.
  20. Absolutely one of the coolest places in the U.S. Take a guided hiking tour of the fiery furnace if you can. You must go with either a Park Ranger or a tour company. Canyonlands is also a great park. There's also a nice brewpub restaurant in the center of town. It's also a very pretty little town if you have the time to walk around.
  21. The Yankee Clipper's streak will never be met or exceeded.
  22. I'm not doubting A.J. in the least but I would switch Gattis and Reddick.
  23. The Angels look like legit competition in the West, especially with a healthy Trout. Of course the 'Stros win the division but I expect LAA to be there for a wildcard at the end of the year.
  24. Wow, I say the exact same thing about Sooner fans.
  25. Giles is in postseason form. I don’t see why anyone’s complaining. I’m worried about the Altuve slump. This team is going to crush the AL and face the Yanks again in the ALCS, where the better pitching of the Astros will win out.
